@@Devilsadvocate23its not really "happy" in the typical way, with premise i guess there was now way for a so-called "happy ending", it was more like an open ending with a positive note, but it makes sense in context.

@@kimmapithe original series is from taiwan and its crazy good. i personally love it so much, but the plot is quite heavy because of the time traveling and it can be quite confusing. but the acting, ost, and cinematography is really top tier back then so it is good 👍

The song 'Gather my tears' which was a mega-hit in 1996, was released after Seo Jiwon died. He was only 18. The young genius singer could't overcome the burden of making a new song and his popularity. It's a very sad song to Korean people. It means a lot..

you know what would have been genius; the production company asked ShiShi to sing for the OST. ShiShi was the one who sang the OST for the original series and movie. She's from Korea and speaks fluent Korean. That would have been such a cool Easter egg.

@@denknj She's third-generation Chinese-Korean. So, she's Chinese but lived in Korea all her life before moving to Taiwan to become a singer.

@@sreelakshmi2584 Ehhh. I would say neither fully happy nor fully sad but not everyone may feel the same way. Bittersweet might be the best way to describe it. This is assuming they go with the same ending as the original.

@@sreelakshmi2584 The original is called "Someday or One Day". There's a movie version, but the drama (13 episodes I believe) is better. It's been a while since I've seen it so not sure where you would be able to watch it. Viki might have it since they have a decent Taiwanese catalog. Edit: I was corrected that the movie is a sequel. In that case, watch the movie after the original drama.

Yup, n I also felt that the part of wu bai's last dance, the section of the lyrics (rough translation- So close your eyes for a moment You can slowly slip into my embrace The moment the crowd slowly disperses from the dance floor Should be now) when played and the protagonist traversed back was so apt and it beautifully complemented the whole transition.. And i also really loved the writer's explanation for applying this song.

This K drama is based on a Taiwanese drama called “Someday or one day”. I loved it so much that I watched it 3 times. I don’t know if I want to watch this Korean version though. The Taiwanese version was just too good and I don’t think any other version would be able to top it up!

Finally somebody gets me!!!! I LOVED the taiwanese version and I'm about to watch it for the 4th time. The korean version looks so...Korean drama ish(?). The Taiwanese one looks so real especially the scenarios. Very nostalgic.

Is this the remake of some day or one day?! Damnnnn!!! 🔥 I highly recommended everyone to watch the original too... it is my favorite Taiwanese drama. The friendship of the trio is great!!! The ml too... he still lives in my head rent free!!! I have seen Ahn Hyo Seop and YES he's gorgeous and charismatic but the ml of the original is next level... it's gonna be hard to live up to his charm and how passionate he was. One of the best ml seriously. 💚🥺

The story has a potential for 16 or even 20 episodes, why they made it only 12? One of the best kdrama for me. It's really good and the actors did so well. I watched the original and this one has same story as the original but the korean remake has a different sequence of scenes / events and has it's own unique taste. They made it more interesting and more compelling to watch. Well done. Wished it was 16 or 20 episodes, though.

the original version is called someday or oneday. its better than this copied korean version and has more chemistry between the cast and the story has more background to it. ive watch the og before this and nothing will top the taiwan version after watching it

Ahn Hyo-Seop is an amazing actor. He was so versatile in this drama and I felt the hurt and pain his character went through. I plan to continue watching k-drams starring this actor. I also loved him in Business Proposal.
