@@NothingHereIsReal do you plan to make tutorial videos on geometry nodes, material nodes and simulation? or at least about creating such animations? I think you would have a huge audience and it would be very useful tricks and tuts.

I'm not sure. I have a day job and a family as well as doing this and time is the main problem. I might consider it if there is enough interest. Interestingly simulation nodes came a little late for me to use it in here. Geometry nodes is something I'm starting to use but I'm no expert. Materials - maybe. I have another animation project in the works and that will have to play out first though. Never enough hours in the day! 😉 Will you be at BCON?

@@NothingHereIsReal OMG. marvelous! so how do you do things like that if not with nodes? do you use only blender or some other software? I don't think I will participate. Maybe just as a simple observer :) I'm new to 3D and I only study it in my free time and when the children are sleeping :)

I used GeoNodes in some way for about 50% of the animations. I also use nodes in materials. The animations are nearly 100% Blender. I also use Affinity Designer and Photo for preparing textures and thumbnails etc. Blender is a great piece of software it can do most things reasonably well and it's free so that's a big plus. It's all about the investment in time in getting good at using it. All the best.
