I'm rewatching this masterpiece of a game, for celebration of DDLC's 5th year anniversary! I've watched this game before, I just hadn't really commented on the video at all. I'm a bit of a lurker, if you know what I mean. This game changed my life, and inspired me to make my own type of story like this. I remember when I first watched this in early 2020, quarantine, you feel me, but I was 12, and was the king of horror fnaf, creepypastas, LittleNightmares, Bendy and the Ink Machine, and much much more. I had seen lots of markiplier's videos at that time, I had just happen to see this video pop up on my home page, had seen this game. I naturally clicked on it, because it's markiplier, and I was curious. I had watched the series, up until I saw Sayori hanging, and I stopped watching, because I got scared. LOL! I look back on that time very fondly. Finally, I actually had watched Markiplier's series all the way through, in November of 2022. After 2 whole years I had finally had watched all the way through, and man, DO I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! The slight elements of creepiness in the beginning, the poems that foreshadows the next movement in that character, the character designs in general, the part of the game when everything just starts going to hell! This game is one of 3 games that I'm obsessed with: Subnautica, FNAF, obviously DOKI DOKI LITERATURE CLUB! I'm so glad that I came back to this game, and had rewatched it all the way through, because I want to at some point make content on this platform, and this is so inspiring to me, and even though I wasn't really there since the beginning, from the bottom of my heart, and soul, thank you Dan Salvoto!

It feels like yesterday since I seen gameplay of ddlc, but yet it’s been 5 years since this game came out. Can’t believe it 5 whole years, but yet it’s still arguably one of the best horror game to some people. Rewatching this series I forgot how good this game was, and to this day this game still does a great job for making me feel bad for this psycho girl. Thanks Dan for making this masterpiece of a game.
