I love everything this woman comes up with. She brought dignity back to being a home maker during an era when women were bashing stay at home moms for not having full time careers AND doing everything at home. She’s so talented and has helped me learn many new and useful skills. I love her attention to detail.

God I love Martha, every time I watch her I get inspired and learn something new. Merry Christmas Martha you have made my life as a mother and housewife so much more rewarding. My daughters are now in their early 30's and I'm so happy that they share in my admiration for you. This setting is magical,I absolutely love everything about it,I would buy that blue top if I seen it in a store,I wish Martha was my relative,I will never understand how Martha does it all,she was gifted with a brilliant mind that has made such an impact on our world, she's the best,no one out does Martha.

But we can recreate yo a certain extent in or own homes. Those types of things and things she has done was in another time just everyday happenings and houses were small. I grew up in a small cozy house with would burning stoves. I still look at for things that remind me of my childhood. I have a small cottage I can clean in a day. Yay for small houses!

over the top gorgeous. Martha, I would give anything to have your talent. Everything you do is better than the last thing you did. I disagree with Ann who just posted, cold, gray and no joy. If u had nothing but all the various animals and birds with the white and silver theme, it would be spectacular. You're THE BEST!!!

Magical. Just flawless taste... But I collect vintage tinsel trees as well & though those big trees are beautiful, I don't think they look much like the originals. I know some might like seeing things you can go right out & purchase, but I REALLY miss drooling over her antiques/collections!

I love Martha Stewart, always have but her home looks so corporate now. I'm miss the days of antiques, junk finds and Turkey Hill with character. Still beautiful but not nearly as cozy and interesting. Just too "new rich" looking. She use to be all about the history and story. I miss that. I do like the silver trees.

Yes! Couldn't put my finger on what I miss about the Martha from 15 yrs ago or so but you nailed it. Still love her... Impeccable taste... But I miss the days when we got see her collections, the originals, rather than the copies she's reproduced.

Query:. I am recently diagnosed with end stage renal disease. A lot of delicious and healthy food is now off limits for me. I can't eat brussel sprouts (I LOVE brussel sprouts), cheese, pastrami, anything that comes in a can (sodium). I am hoping you have some "dialysis" friendly recipes. Thank you all the years you have been sharing knowledge!

Sorry, but grey and metalic really isn't nice. There's no warmth to it, and Christmas is supposed to be warm indoors and cold outdoors.

SO TRUE! her original house, Turkey Hill was SO gorgeous, full of antiques, character and natural outdoor things she would use for natural displays. Her house now, this one here you are talking about, from the outside looks like some compound or something, so cold and lacking of any warmth. This decorating is, like you said, cold looking , ugh. The furniture looks like a cheap motel from the 1960's! :P! I only watch her EARLY shows from the late 80's to early 90's. The show she had on last year is ridiculous....Kimberly

I find this funny has her own daughter said that they never decorated for Christmas or Halloween and how awful she was as a mother when her daughter was growing up and now she's decorating her house LOL!
