Metting the family for lunch, picking up some peaches at our area Farmer's Market and taking a trip to Wagener to see my friend Mr. David to get some feed for all these critters. Come along and take a tour of an Ol' Timey Milling Company.

Michigan here 👋🏻 So sad Milling is closing down. I think we need to fight to keep these things open, but…I don’t know how, except to buy from them. Aww….poor dog! I’m happy they saved him. @cbass2755 We always have a great time getting together and try to make it often. We have a really nice Farmers Market! We love going there to pick up fresh produce - locally grown! You will definitely have to try a white peach if you can find them in your area. They are delicious! Mr. David is the owner of Wagener Milling Co. Mr. James and Mr. Chris work there. James has been there for a long time! They mill the best feed - they only feed I give to our cows, goats and chickens! The chickens LOVE the homemade scratch! It's very sad to see commercial pushing out these small-town mills. Thankfully, Mr. David is still going strong! "Puppy" was on the way home from the emergency vet yesterday and we ran into Mr. Spanky Jumper while we were picking up dog food. My heart goes out to them, and we'd like to do what we can to help them out! Very expensive vet bill on top of special dog food until he can digest the other food. So many people are abandoning these poor animals and I commend The Jumper's for stepping up and taking him in. Any help, I know, would be greatly appreciated! OMG I live in a what used to be Total Farm Country in PA and had access to Small Business Mills 5 in my area within 15 years, all the Mills shut down. I use to get my Natural Preen at one. Makes my heart hurt. I love SC and thank you for the tour. I would like to donate to Mr. Spanky for Puppy, I don't have much but if $50.00 would help out, please let me know how. Thank you.

@user-fs6uv6hm5t That is so sad to hear! The first time I went to this milling company, I absolutely fell in love with it! The owner, Mr. David, is the nicest man you'll ever meet. He is the only person we buy our feed for the cows and goats - and their homemade chicken scratch - it is the BEST! We really enjoy supporting our local small businesses to help keep them going - especially these old mills - they are shutting down everywhere and it's sad to see what Corporate America has done to our Main Streets across the country. You are so kind! Thank you! I'm know Mr. Spanky and Puppy will appreciate it! I know a lot of us are struggling right now, so if you would like to help, only do what you can and don't put yourself in a bind. I have never asked for money from my viewers, but I just felt it in my heart to put Puppy's story out. It saddened me that he was abused and abandoned and then that happened just when he was learning to trust. Thankfully, Puppy is doing better. He still has a little swelling - that snake must have really gotten him good. I couldn't imagine having that type of unexpected expense and The Jumper's - you can tell have a huge heart to take him in and care for him, and I just wanted to try to help them as much as we could. @@CelebratingFarmLife You were so nice in your response. God has Blessed you, not sure I would have been, but I would have done it with dignity. I had a Diabetic Cat that required 2 Insulin shots a day for 11 years, I know the Vet ER Bills, she went into coma 3 times and I got her own Credit Card. $4,000 a visit and stay for weeks. People have no idea.

@lostribe5130 It sure is! We will continue doing what we can to help out. We know firsthand how costly that can be. My heart goes out to them! So sad! They took that poor baby in after he had been abused and abandoned and gained his trust and then he got snake bit.
