Usually around this time, I'll put together a wrap-up video of the previous year. But this time, I'm breaking a bit from tradition to get a little more personal. I'm a 54 year old man with wet eyes now, just so happy for you both. I really wish you both the very best, keep doing what you do and love each other like crazy. You've taken me back to my own proposal, here in Sydney on the harbour all those years ago, now still very happy together, kids etc. Thank you for moving me (again) and for shining a light on what's real and to be treasured in our lives in the way that only you can do. What a great video. These little personal stories are stuff that makes me love KZfaq. The little everyday or once in lifetime stories that would never have space to exist without a platform like KZfaq. It also gives hope to this lone wolf whose getting to the end of the first half in life that maybe there’s still hope to find someone.

Who took my tissue?! This is so awesome Billy. As a guy on the plane every week and spending more time in hotels then home, I absolutely know the struggle. It’s not an easy road, but it’s like a race you finish every day, your love will be that emotional finish line you can enjoy daily. Cheers my friend!

The frame for the proposal was so perfect, high apline like in the background, trail in the foreground. I just started crying in anticipation of the declaration of love. P.S. The butt slap was the a tuching authentic act of affirmation. Congratulations guys!

Wow. Despite the chaos and uncertainty the last few years has brought on; there is still beauty that can be experienced and seen. Thanks Billy! I have followed and watched your videos for the past few years but never really had the chance or opportunity to chime in. Your ability, eye, and skill to draw in people from the running community and abroad is magical. I have been encouraged, determined, and inspired by you and your projects, podcasts as well. I too am a Korean, trail runner, trying to make sense of life through injuries, the pandemic and the day to day. Originally from BC, I don't know Hilary directly but we definitely have crossed paths through our degrees or separation from the trail running community. Congratulations to you both! I love this so much, Billy! Me and my (now) wife also had a couple of years long distance between the UK, where I'm from, and Vancouver, where she is from. Seeing your films and travels and interactions with Hillary over the past few years gave me so much strength and hope and reassurance that other people were dealing with the additional long distance struggles as well as the pandemic. All my love to you both and to your future together! Here's to love, adventures, and the trails!

This was so awesome!!! I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I can honestly say that they were what got me into trail and long distance running. Not only that, but some of them made me look at life from a different perspective. I struggle with depression and I often watch “The Why” and the UTMB video from 2015 to dig myself out from some holes that I get myself into. So, even though we haven’t met, you and your content have become an important part of my healing process! And because of that, I was extremely happy and excited to watch this! Congratulations!
