I love the A-Train character arc, he's gone from being just another douche in the 7 to being one of my favorite characters.

This scene makes no sense, she should’ve left with a-train. Ashley was fired from vought, the other girl who worked at vought was killed immediately for working with starlight in the slightest, and a-train gave her a chance to live basically. Homelander knows when people lie to him, I’m shocked if she doesn’t die.

Ashley is in too deep (no pun intended) to escape both Homelander and Vought but she knows how much of a toxic and dreadfull place it is to work and be with them, she would welcome to escape it all if she thinks she could. So if she can see others a chance to escape it she will let them, she maybe flawed and she has done horrid things but it is more out of self preservation rather then cause she is evil.

There's a major difference tho. This is a character arc and he's only really becoming good. With noir we just learned more about him and honestly I didn't really feel said for him he had no arc. He does and was replaced ultimately. In my mind he was a brain dead psycho. With strain hes actually progressing and only now becoming good. Hell probably survive this season. Maybe dies next season 50/50 chance
