So..... Now I come across a "Tribute" to this man, Hovie Lister. A man who was known to incorporate elements of Worldly Music into his Albums. A man who, at the time of his passing, was known to have been a 32nd Freemason, and that never repented for that lifestyle. He was also have rumored, to have had Freemasons in his group. Folks:No thanks! I will never honor someone who pretended to be a Christian, but that was involved with the Freemasons! Another man that was involved with the Freemasons, was Mr. Eldridge Locke Fox. He, too, was a member of the Freemasons, having been a member of Hominy Lodge No. 491, in Candler, North Carolina. Until I found that out, I thought that he might have been a Christian. Guess not. If you look and listen to the music of The Kingsmen Quartet, some of it is absolutely RIDDLED with a Country Gospel type of a musical setting. Not all of it...but some of it is. In the middle 1980s, Mel McDaniels did a Country song called Stand Up. Guess what? The Kingsmen Quartet took that song, kept the Country Music background music of it, and tried to make it into a Christian Song, simply by changing the words, and ended up with it becoming one of their biggest hits ever! I have read in the Holy Bible, though, that one cannot serve both Christ, and the Devil. If you think you can do it, and get by with God, then I've got some bad news for ya:You can't! Southern Gospel Music, if mixed with elements of Worldly Music, is some of the most dangerous, deceptive, Devilish, and Hell-Bound trash known to Mankind...and so is "Christian" Rock! If it's Christian, it ain't rockin', but if it's rockin', it ain't Christian!!!
