Abhinandan is on hosting duties this week and we decided to take a break from all the craziness of TV news and look back at Newslaundry during the UPA era, when we were still speaking truth to power.

On a serious note, I don't think anchors used to do such bhakthi towards UPA ministers. Yeah, sometimes they were easy on them, but protesting against them wasn't seen as a crime.

now add the airport infrastructure disaster too not just in delhi airport, but also in jabalpur. Also these airports were not functioning before, they were made functional under some connecting india sceme by government (before elections)

Had been following you guys since 2013. Miss Madhu and Clothesline. Still remember how soft spoken and erudite Ranga was. He was infact part of your core team and the science editor at NL. He also used to bring a certain PoV to Hafta. Seriously don't know what happened. Anyways, keep up the goodwork.

After seeing the corruption allegation and UPA is winning so based on the same logic the Modi government has no corruption allegations so can we say Modi is better than UPA? I don't think so. I think the media also needs to rectify that which allegation is correct and which is opposition funded as 2G was completely baseless at the end.

Understand Karan thapar played a role fo govt on that time regularly, but *Walks out from an Interview* is all another level! He pointed on what exactly every one needed to know his role in riots through that question.. He didn't asked opposition, it's his party on the *chair* & been asked whom to serve that right all the way. Infact, Modi clearly skips & clearly seemed became nervous... That's why there'll be no comparison on that interview (pointed right person of Gj) Though whole media did't kept UPA govt in criticism (much hateful act & paid must be), but atleast not that *much noise*.. The way they shout on prime time & other daily news nowdays, like Zoombie gonna attack themselves after their shows!! That's weirder.. right?!

True brother. There are politicians in every party who come from a corrupted and criminal background. From time to time, they need to be called out. The point is, if a party is strong, they will sue them or not be afraid to discard them. However, if the party's high command is also corrupt, they will preserve them.
