Fleetwood is in my heart: I was born and brought up there, taught there for 24 years and lived there until I was about 40. I only live a few miles away now and visit regularly. You are right, Tina - the front is beautiful. 💜💜💜

Talking of M&S, I was in an consignment shop here in Massachusetts yesterday, where I was dropping off some things, and I had a quick look around They had a cashmere cardigan, with the St.Michael's label, (so it was at least 30 years old), in perfect condition. What I noticed was the quality of the cashmere, compared to what you get today - it was much thicker - and a little touch that I had forgotten about. The button placket was backed with petersham ribbon - you never see that anymore, and I pointed it out to the cashier, who had never ever seen it! It was a UK size 16 (and I'm a UK 10), but it looked so small that I think it would work. I know the actual measurements of sizes has changed (bigger these days) but it was interesting. Hi Tina good to see you. Good luck with your diet, I am trying to support my daughter who has just started her diet, she was a size 8 when she went off to uni and is now 5 stone heavier. Lock down has not done her any favours. She has started ordering Hello Fresh healthy meals low cal. Fingers crossed this will put her back on track as she is a good cook. Hopefully we can share tips.xx

Hi Tina, I love Freeport and go regular. I have started since January to just be more careful of what I eat….. just trying to eat more veg and salads etc, and I’m thrilled to have lost nearly a stone….. I’m much heavier than ou and need to do it to be healthy. We still have a few treats though and find I still lose as long as I’m good in week. Enjoyed your video as always Diane x

I used to go to a boarding school in Blackpool (Layton Hill) so I visited Fleetwood and St Anne’s quite often. That would be in the late ‘60s/early ‘70s so I bet I wouldn’t recognise it now.

I'd no idea Freeport had changed its name, it's a while since l went because of the lockdowns, l always enjoyed a shopping trip there. I hope M&S aren't closing, the high street stores are really struggling aren't they, we need to use them more or we'll lose them, but I'm guilty of ordering online especially in winter. Good luck with the diet, l seem to be on a permanent diet & forever feeling guilty if l have a treat, but I'm fighting genetics - that's my excuse 😆

I think if you’re serious about wanting to lose weight Tina you can do it. I’m not sure what you mean when you said you’re rubbish at it. It’s just a case of eating good healthy food & cutting out the stuff you know you shouldn’t eat (you’re not going to starve) Once you start it becomes your normal way of eating…and think how good you’ll look & feel :)
