Finally got to see my Nan yesterday who turned 90 in February (only outside) but was so nice to see her after 4 months!

Seeing BB again was lovely and that they are both keeping well. You have some lovely villages up there to walk around. Been trying to plan a trip up to the peaks. We are not big walkers but lovely scenery and nice cafes are great 👍

Great vlog. Saddleworth is actually made up of quite a few smaller villages with uppermill being the largest and most populated. Lots of nice cafes etc in the surrounding villages too :-)

Had a fantastic afternoon with a group of mates at a local pub for lunch - so nice to meet face to face rather than on zoom - lovely to see Batty B looking so well as I think you said she did get covid

We live Uppermill. That restaurant you saw with pods has always had them. Muse is lovely for food and cocktails, and the cake kitchen for cakes is 😍😍😍 recommend going back when life is more normal

It was so much fun to see Batty Brenda again, as well as a glimpse of Nick’s mother. And that correctly confused you was referring to an American brand of dips, cheeses, etc. called Heluva Good! I’ve seen them in the store before, but I’ve never had any of their products.

We got mouse repellant plug ins from Amazon and they worked! They emit a sound mice hate but are safe for cats and dogs. Much better than messing with traps!

I never expected Saddleworth to be so quaint. I’ve only ever seen it going past on the motorway.

We've had 1.bathriom fitter out never got back to us and two who we know that didnt show up, snooze you loose we move on 😀 glad its not just us....

Sorry Guys but Saddleworth is an area, not a town or even one particular village but a group of villages. Uppermill is the main/largest. I recommend that you go to Uppermill on Whit Friday when the band contests are allowed again. In the morning most of the local villages have processions to Uppermill where they congregate. It is a really lovely day. This is an old traditional religious event. All the local kids love it because it means no school. The same day at about 4pm the brass band contests start and go on until 10-11pm. Bands from all over the country, and some from abroad, travel to the different villages where they compete with a street march and then play a different piece in a separate area before moving on to the next village. Most bands try to play at as many places as possible. It can get very busy in Uppermill so you might want to try another village such as Diggle or Delph for the evening. Even if it isn't to your taste, it will be probably worth vlogging. I don't think it will be allowed this year but maybe next. You should also look at other events local to the apartment such as Cuckoo day, 40s weekend and Jazz Festival. Again perhaps not occurring this year or to your taste but, when life returns to normal, could be worth visiting to film. Also I'm not sure which Tesco you shopped at but the Oldham one is the best in the area for clothing. Yet again, another great vlog. I'll forgive you for the Saddleworth mistake but I can't speak for everyone. Thanks xxx
