had this happen a little over a decade ago, it was by far the most traumatic thing i've ever had to go to the hospital/DR for. & i've broken bones almost 10 times, gotten 3 concussions, cut so bad I needed stitches 4 times, etc... a bug in my ear is the only one that changed the way I go about my life to this day - just to avoid that ever happening again lmao

Bro a buddy of mine was on mushrooms at a party one time and fell in some grass and a moth went in his his ear and noone would believe him. He was freaking out and ended up calling his mom who also didn't believe him. Then she took him to the hospital and the doctor didn't believe him. They all just thought he was tripping. Then finally when the doctor looked in his ear it was totally a moth. Thought that was a one in a million experience. You fkn rip Chad! You're mindfulness and determination is the most inspiring thing on the internet. Thanks for the positive energy brother!

I has a small moth fly into my ear while I was trimming a bush. When the vibrate the wings on your ear drum it is a one of a kind experience. Flushed it out with a garden house.

I was paddling the coast of Baja and a beetle made its way into my ear. It drove me nuts and was stressful but oddly funny at the same time. I had a bulb syringe in my first aid and flushed it out finally. I couldn’t believe it. Crazy day for you. Loving following your adventure and appreciate you sharing it. 🤘🤘💪💪✌🏻

In John Steinbeck's book "Travels with Charley: In Search of America", he talks about in preparation of his trip and in meeting people along the way, there's always a wishfullness he observes in people when he tells them he's going on the road- a look of wanting to also leave and embark on the same adventure. You seem to be experiencing that as well, where it stirs a feeling of adventure in people who used to skate or have some kind of connection to skateboarding and adventure. It's really cool to see people meeting you along the way and joining you for a little while to get that same feeling of freedom.

That is CRAZY! When I saw the video name I was like, "aw man, he made it 48 days before he took a nasty spill"--nope!

This happened to me once. Was sleeping ( room was next to outdoor greenhouse) and woke up to the sound of crawling in my ear. Freaked me out and would not come out. I grabbed some water and poured it in to my ear and it died. The craziest was that I could hear the legs moving faster until I heard nothing. I fell back asleep and forgot about it. In the morning when brushing my teeth I heard a GLUG and out of my ear came the dead bug with water. Was strange experience indeed.

The realities of moving forward outdoors; as a cyclist, I’ve been stung by bees on both shoulders plus one stung me though a vent on my helmet (not to mention swallowing half the insects found in the animal kingdom!). Pretty crazy that a butterfly flew into your ear, skated with it there, and found an urgent care to get it all out!
