For the molle straps on the backpack, any backpack will do I think; Just let the tailor know that you want them to sew the molle pieces on as strongly as possible (give them a weight estimate of how much you are willing to carry).

I have the plate carrier and the day pack. Got to figure out how to mount a WE Desert Eagle L6 holster onto the side Molle section. The clips are arranged so that the Molle is further to the back of the carrier and the pistol maybe harder to reach and catch on the inner side of your arm .. That said not tried it yet, got to get a Kydex Molle holster made ... I’m sure it will be ok.

I bought the plate carrier. I wanted a back pack to Molle on but the Charger looks like a school back.

Try changing the inserts for esstac kywi's and using double sided hook n loop or wild Bill tactical install kit for a spiritus system rig of which it is a copy of . Sweet kydex retention.
