An extract from the Friday Sermon delivered by the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (may Allah be his Helper) on 30 April 2021.

Regarding the following revelation which the Promised Messiah(as) received:
صَلِّ‭ ‬عَلٰي‭ ‬مُحَمَّدٍ‭ ‬وَّاٰلِ‭ ‬مُحَمَّدٍ‭ ‬سَيِّدِ‭ ‬وُلْدِ‭ ‬اٰدَمَ‭ ‬وَخَاتَمِ‭ ‬النَّبِيّيْنَ
“Call down blessings on Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad, who is the Chief of the children of Adam and is the Seal of the Prophets, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him”, the Promised Messiah(as) said: “This indicates that all these ranks, munificence and favours are on account of him [the Holy Prophet(sa)] and are a reward for loving him. Subhanallah [Holy is Allah]! What high ranks the chief of all creation has in the presence of the One True God and what kind of nearness does he have to Him that his admirer becomes the beloved of God, and his servant is appointed the master of the whole world!”
In other words, one who does true justice to his subservience to the Holy Prophet(sa) attains such a rank in the sight of Allah the Almighty that the entire world unites to serve him. Thus, the status of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi is owing to his complete subservience and love for the Holy Prophet(sa). It is because the Promised Messiah(as) was a true devotee of the Holy Prophet(sa) that Allah the Almighty declared him to be an ummati prophet, who was going to appear in subservience to the Holy Prophet(sa) and further his mission. He was sent for the propagation of Islam.
The Promised Messiah(as) states: “At this time, I recall that one night, this humble one recited durood so abundantly that my heart and soul became fragrant therewith. The same night I saw in a dream that angels were carrying into the house of this humble one water skins filled with divine light in the form of pure and clean water and one of them said, ‘These are the very blessings which you had sent to Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.’
“I recall a similar wonderful experience. Once, I received a revelation which indicated that there was a vigorous discussion in the High Assembly in Heaven. That is, God’s will for the revival of the Faith was surging, but the appointment of the man to revive the Faith was not yet disclosed to the High Assembly, and this is why they were in disagreement. It was at this time in the dream that I saw people searching for a reviver. A man appeared before my humble self and, pointing towards me, said:
هٰذَا‭ ‬رَجُلٌ‭ ‬يُّحِبُّ‭ ‬رَسُوْلَ‭ ‬اللّٰهِ
“Meaning, ‘This is the man who loves the Messenger[sa] of Allah. The meaning of this statement was that the principal qualification for this mission is the love of the Holy Prophet(sa) and that this quality was definitely found in me.” (Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya, pt. 4, Ruhani Khazain Vol.1, pp. 597-598, sub-footnote 3).
حضرت مسیح موعود علیہ السلام اپنے اس الہام کا تذکرہ فرماتے ہوئے جس کے الفاظ یہ ہیں کہ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ سَیِّدِ وُلْدِ اٰدَمَ وَخَاتَمِ النَّبِیّیْنَ۔ اور درود بھیج محمد اور آل محمد پر جو سردار ہے آدم کے بیٹوں کا اور خاتم الانبیاء ہے صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم، فرمایا کہ یہ اس بات کی طرف اشارہ ہے کہ یہ سب مراتب اور تفضلات اور عنایات اس کے طفیل سے ہیں اور اسی سے محبت کرنے کا یہ صلہ ہیں۔ فرمایا: سبحان اللہ اس سرور ِکائنات کے حضرتِ احدیت میں کیا اعلیٰ مراتب ہیں، اس سرور ِکائنات کے حضرتِ احدیت میں کیا ہی اعلیٰ مراتب ہیں اور کس قسم کا قرب ہے کہ اس کا محبوب خدا کا محبوب بن جاتا ہے اور اس کا خادم ایک دنیا کا مخدوم بن جاتا ہے۔ یعنی آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی غلامی کا حق ادا کرنے والا اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں وہ مقام حاصل کرتا ہے کہ ایک دنیا اس کے ہاتھ پر جمع ہو کرغلامی کا اعلان کرتی ہے۔ پس آج جو دنیا میں حضرت مرزا غلام احمد قادیانی مسیح موعود اور مہدی معہودؑ کا مقام ہے یہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی غلامی کی وجہ سے ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے محبت کی وجہ سے ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سچے عاشق ہونے کی وجہ سے ہے۔ اس محبت ہی کی وجہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت مسیح موعود علیہ السلام کو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی غلامی میں آنے والا وہ امتی نبی قرار دیا ہے جو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کام کو پھیلانے کے لیے بھیجا گیا ہے۔ آگے چلانے کے لیے بھیجا گیا ہے۔ اسلام کی اشاعت کے لیے بھیجا گیا ہے۔ پھر حضرت مسیح موعود علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام فرماتے ہیں کہ اس مقام پر مجھے یاد آیا کہ ایک رات اس عاجز نے اس کثرت سے درود شریف پڑھا کہ دل و جان اس سے معطر ہو گیا۔ اس رات خواب میں دیکھا کہ آبِ زلال کی شکل پر یعنی ایک میٹھے اور صاف پانی کی صورت میں بھری ہوئیں نور کی مشکیں فرشتے اس عاجز کے مکان پر لیے آتے ہیں اور ایک نے ان میں سے کہا کہ یہ وہی برکات ہیں جو تو نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف بھیجی تھیں اور ایسا ہی عجیب ایک اَور قصہ یاد آیا کہ ایک مرتبہ الہام ہوا جس کے معنے یہ تھے کہ ملأِاعلیٰ کے لوگ خصومت میں ہیں یعنی ارادہ الٰہی احیائے دین کے لیے جوش میں ہے لیکن ہنوز ملأِاعلیٰ پر شخص مُحیی کا تعین ظاہر نہیں ہوئی اس لیے وہ اختلاف میں ہے۔
