Because it's fake. He just want to make a video about craft so it has to look like he's doing it. Look at that cast, that is not a cats paw, he probably bought it off somewhere and edit that flip. No way the paw is that flat and well defined, the outline is even different from when the metal was poured in. It's all fake. That's why he dont show the result, because he dont have the skill to actually make it.

I didnt notice that but when he revealed that metal after it was flipped it was clear ts faked. The outlines dont match, no way the paw becomes that squarish and flat. It's probably only gallium and not actually hot molten metal being cast

Before you drill into metal like this so the bit doesn't walk you take a punch and put a dent where you want to drill. You get the holes exactly where you want them and there's less risk of breaking the bit because a broken bit can cause some damage if it hits you in the face.

So I’ll let you know exactly what happens. Kinetic sand doesn’t really work to cast thinks with fine details, like the gap in the capital “A” but it does cast shapes and such pretty well. The area immediately around the cast will burn into this really fine grey powder that doesn’t behave like kinetic sand anymore because what specifically burns is the binding agent. It does work though!

Yeah, no, using keneitic sand isn't a good idea. You'll get the texture of the sand in what you're casting and grains of sand will also imbed into the material. You're adding more work for yourself if you plan on trying to buff and shave away the texture and imperfections. You arnt going to get a perfect cast either way using kentic sand.

@@xixixipeopl there really is no way for a fast cast method with metal. If you're using something that won't get too hot there's melt and pour mold medium; it's also reusable. Otherwise, you're going to have to use silicone or the shaped molds for metal.

Umm would of loved to see the end of it, guess it's a collar for his cat or dog. Couldn't really tell since very little info or video, and what's the other ingredient, silver or white gold which I doubt it. It's probably aluminum or something that melts at a lower temp. I myself would love to seen the paw print on bismuth metal and get that rainbow effect and melts at a very low temperature you can melt on your stovetop. Don't think it would be gallium since it can melt in your hands. Very cool metal and would love to get some one-day
