I don't think it resembles Korean style at all and that's a good thing! It's MUCH better for local cinema to carve out their own style. The style reminds me more of Dirty Linen and I love that i'm associating the style with a fellow local great work rather than be looking for similarities in other international works. I recently watched someone saying that the worst way to promote the Philippines is comparing it as similar to something else. He was talking about tourism and our habit of saying "Siargao is the Bali of the Philippines" and similar promotional tactics since it implies that we are inferior and not the "original". And they have a point. It's seen in our local PPOP industry who - aside from SB19 - hasn't seen much success. A lot denounce the obvious copying of the KPOP formula instead of honing in on our existing industry. Solo artists such as Maymay & AC Bonifacio are also marketed as "PPOP" confusing people more about why we don't just call it OPM like how it's always been. It's definitely better for us to simply market ourselves as original rather than being merely a version of something else.

Kathryn needs acting workshops. They could’ve done it since she’s already working with Ms. Dolly para sana mas convincing yung pag-arte niya, especially yung pagdeliver niya ng lines. Sana ginaya yung pagpiga sa kanya ni Direk Cathy sa Hongkong lol. Hello, Love Goodbye was her best shot so far.
