@@nikimilky tier 1, no upgrades, no expo. only 1 tower and that was way too close. in midgame grubby would win easily, could deny NElf expo all the time and make him run out of gold or lean back and outtech. kotg is no threat against human mid to late game.

Hello Grubby, I randomly found your channel maybe like 1,5 weeks ago. I never played WC3 and I was 8 years old when the game released. There was a TV show about games and gaming in generall back then at maybe 10 pm or something like that on TV. Sometimes at the weekend I could whatch some clips or gameplay there for a couple of minutes. My father always switched channels because he did not like video games back then and still dont really do now. But I never played the game and I have forgotten about it until I saw your videos. I always thought back then on TV that it looked really cool and I wanted to know more about it. But I did not catch the name of the game back then and so I never played it. I am 30 now and 22 years later I might want to pick it up and try to play it because of your videos.

It's a good game but theirs a high skill ceiling. Need good micro. I'm used to Warcraft 2 and Starcraft 1 where you just mass units and send it.

Had nothing left, Grubby's main upgrades + unit prog would've been an inevitable win. His opponent needed to take that expo much more convincingly and not lose all of his AP's.

Because he went for AP Hunts all-in. Once the attack failed, it is basically over, Grubby had an advantage both in number of base and techs.

Nobody else noticed Grubbys trap, where he deliberately runs the troll priest forwards to bait entangle, has abolish ready and provokes elf to dive deeper on thst tower

I’ve played two major games so far and lost both, one was me human vs keeper huntress rush, keeper doesn’t seem to die even with am summons and a footie, and then they run back for free heals and do it again. The second game was me orc vs undead crypt lord and spiders similar tactics

09:31 Can anyone tell me why does the Lich seem to take no damage while it’s surrounded and then suddenly gets very low hp when leveling up ? Is it a bug ? Bc the hp bar goes from nearly full green to almost empty red when grubby moves the ingame camera.

The HP bar of a Militia was perfectly on top of the Lich`s, only after Grubby moved the camera, you see the HP of the Lich.

I use a Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard, it uses Linear Optical Switches which are more quieter than your typical mechanical keyboard, and unlike most mechanical keyboards, the switches activate sooner than other switches, so you have faster response times and more accurate key presses. It's really quite nice, good money for what I paid for it, unfortunately I think it was a customer return because when i got it, it was warped slightly, and the "T" key is sticky. Other than those little things, it's still functional and works as intended.

I really thought you'd come back with that beautiful Lich kill but you weren't able to take advantage of it (in part because you picked the wrong strategy as you said but also because he could revive quickly and apparently had a lot or gold saved up). Very good game from both in any case.

We're seeing that Apocalypse is really good. And Lich + Ghouls seems to be a pretty good counter to Paladin + Footmen.

I'm still wondering how the hell ghouls counter footmen. The stats just don't add up. Ghouls are considerably weaker for the same food.

@@spikem5950 If it was just the units without heroes, Ghouls would lose to Footmen. But the thing is that both units bunch up to fight, and while Paladin can heal just 1 Footman at a time, while Lich can damage AND slow a whole bunch at the same time. So against Lich + Ghouls, Human needs to use options that aren't Paladin + Footmen.

I don't understand how lich went instantly from 80%hp to 20% hp at 9:44 - without using holy light from pala?! Holy light was only used to finish the lich. Can someone explain, please?

I think you need to be able to attack on three fronts simultaneously to be able to defeat grubby consistently, Grubby lost the first match due to being overwhelmed by attacks on multiple fronts and not being the aggressor. The last match failed because he focused on the expo and not any attacks on the main base. I think using voice command system would help.

See for the alt account, why not install a different browser and use the second account there? That way you can just open the browser and go to twitch there without loggin in and out constantly

Honk off the creeps by giving your scouting work a Repair command (you need to have a scratch on one of your buildings first). This takes advantage of a bug in the creep AI (this was supposed to target workers repairing a tower or Ancient of War near the creeps, but the way it was implemented they try to do the same thing even if the building to be repaired is out of their sight).

@@bryansweeney3077 This. If you look very closely you can see the lich's bar move a bit during one of his attack animations, the green bar is definitely the militia's. Then when he pans the camera if you slow it down you can def see the green bar shift to be above the militia instead.

Grubby knows more than I ever will about WC3, but I think you have to make MK second there ASAP. UD heroes are too strong. You have to nuke them back. Solo Pal nuking ability vs Undead double nuke ability is gg in my not so professional opinion.

in the second he when he realized that enemy is full level1 all in why didnt he just stop expo and focused on towers and defense?! he started with 2 level lead with his hero, couldn't he have capitalized on the level advantage and didn't expo but built up proper defense first?! ( like finishing 1-3towers first before expo?)

Just normal surround and holy light. The camera perspective made it seem like its lifebar was bugged but at the last moment before the kill you could see it
