I discussed Nobushi in a server I'm part of and the whole argument was somewhere between"Yeah but she is really good when she works." and "She is meant to be good in 4 v 4s. Not every character has to be good at everything." with "She does so much damage bro." sprinkled on top. Any character is good when things go their way. But Nobu is an accessory in 4 v 4 and anywhere else her counter is simply Turtling in a meta that punishes turtling. She really is a relic of a bygone era in For Honor. She doesn't need a rework but she needs *something*

I’m just now getting back into for honor after not having played since 2019. I think the last I played was when Hitokiri released and even that was just logging in to check out the update iirc. I just remember hating fighting all the all marching fire hero’s and light spam. That was on console, now on pc everything feels a lot more reactable, but of course I lost all of my unlocks.

Havok, i notice that when you play jorm, you tend to miss out on lots of good damage, when you parry, you want to press guardbreak right after a parry to bash and then mixup with either light, zone or heavy bcause the bash does guaranteed damage on any parry, leading to nasty mixups, and when you guardbreak, you want to light first because it does a damage dealing bash BEFORE you throw them, meaning that even if you miss the wallsplat you still get damage. That's the key to jormungandr, using the bash as a mixup point from heavy parries or guardbreaks, ALSO, when you use the jormungandr chain bash that knocks people down, you should empty feint it more than feinting to guardbreak, because most people would rather dodge attack or dodge bash than eat that bash, which makes guardbreak super unsafe

I think you get hyper armor on zone chain as jorm. If you zone after a light or a heavy you can chain back into another light or heavy and then back into zone with hyper armor again, sort of a infinite chain

Honestly that last fight basically reminded me why I have mainly stuck with the knight characters. Made very good points throughout the video and some of the comments are spot on about certain characters. Hitokiri is definitely the worst thing that has happened to the game, but in general, it feels a lot of characters in the game just have scum "builds" or just ways to play scummy and to me the knight characters have the "least" of it. It's hard to really articulate it but after a game recently against 3 samurai that did nothing but play as cowards and throw daggers every 5 seconds, I wanted to scream. Most honor bound people in real life and the devs gave the samurai some of the cheesiest stuff.

Remember to get your extra damage with Jorm on heavy parry with the bash button. Its a riposte for 16dmg into chain pressure.

Jorm has a parry counter which deals 16 dmg. You should use that more often.

The hito trixi inferno (9.21) i encounter him too, he use a lot berserker but in a strange way, like unlock empty doge to regain stamina in to zone in to recovery cancle and he can parry really well. i just don't know how to counter that ( if i do GB i don't catch his empty doge). Any idea???

As a person who got 3 reps on nobushi in one day I agree with what you said she is very reactable

It's still crazy to me that reworked Valk had a light after bash that got removed, but Ocelotl has a better version of that and he still hasn't even been nerfed.

For me it is typically any character who has easy access to bashes and or unlockable. The mix up fries my brain. The biggest culprit is Orochi storm rush alternating with the kick. It is Orochi's turn to play the game, not yours.

Used to be a Hito main until they started buffing her... Especially the fact that they give you heavies on both kick and sweep. I still don't know why they did that. And the hyper armor on top of that... It's so weird, she used to be one of my favorites, but those changes just made me feel weird playing her. It's like you feel gross for even picking her because of how unfun she is to fight. It's a shame cause I love her character design, a ghostly executioner with a creepy voice. It's edgy and I love it, meanwhile her moveset just makes you want to be executed instead.

Ah Ocelot, make a bad read and you either take a 20 dmg grab or take a guardbreak to heavy. Also, aside from Hitokiri's unfair and has-everything kit which gives him variable and feintable bash and a variable heavy. Hitokiri's uncharged bash guarantees a side heavy, which is bonkers.
