Long time no see! Sorry that I just disappeared for a while, but I'm back now :D School and work basically ate me alive so I had to ignore everything else to keep my sanity, so sorry if you started to doubt that I was ever gonna post this :')
Anyway, I would love if you watched this with the same mindset as the other intros ~

This is only made for fun and I don't claim to know more than anyone else, I can even say I don't know him at all. I'm only a fan. I've just picked some things to mention and tried to summarize some stuff that might be nice to know. I would've loved to include more stuff, but I decided from the beginning that I would try to limit this to 20 min.

before anyone asks why inspiration music video didn't get released; it was because the director of the mv copied another artist music video & a lot of fans along with Jonghyun fansites found out before it was released and so did sm & then sm decided to not release the music videos to protect Jonghyun because if it got released he was the one to get attacked not the music video director

Yes, the MV was shown as a VCR at his concert and some fans noticed it was too similar to something they had already seen and let Jonghyun and SM know about it.

Thanks for making this! I love the lyrics to Hashtag(Waffle) so much! Fun fact, it's a pun in Korean - Not only does the hastag sign look like a waffle, but apparantly the way Koreans pronounce waffle sounds like the word for mean-comments or hate comments. So he is telling people to try eating the hate comments.

I love jonghyun so much I can't even put it into words he is my love and warmth and strength and he is my pride I'm so proud of him and proud to be his fan he makes me so happy and I love his music and personality he's literally my perfect man and even his flaws are loveable he is one of his kind and the greatest artist and the sweetest boy I just love him so much

I started to like SHINee this year. Not with their comeback but I actually watched a documentary about 9 muses. Then I found another few videos about KPOP - and the moment I saw SHINee songs - I liked them more than the others and I was an instantly huge fan of all of them. But Jonghyun is my favorite. His heart is so big, gentle, and warm. I also found comfort in his songs and he was really and he will stay an angel. I will never stop being sorry that I wasn't a fan from the very first day. KPOP is not a huge thing in Croatia (where I'm from), but I'm proud Shawol. :)

I became interested in SHINee with their latest comeback. I am very thankful for this video which showed me the Jonghyun I never knew. It is important because he will always be a part of the SHINee that is today. He has left a great legacy. For those of you who followed them for a long time I send my best wishes.

I found Shinee last year thanks to Boys Over Flowers. I just became obsessed with Stand By Me and my need to sing it actually led to me start learning Korean. A few months in I started watching as many shinee vids as I could and downloaded The Shinee World album (which is AMAZING). I have tried for months not to have Jjong as my bias because it hurts, you know? But I've grown more and more fond of him and it's just a fact that he became my bias. It's that something special that he has. All of shinee are special but him... he has this magic I can't explain but I'm sure you'll understand. I hate that I was not there when he was active but I know I can carry his legacy. Thank you for working so hard on this video! ✨❤✨

Thank you for this. It’s really special and meaningful. Jonghyun was and forever will be special. In his short life he has left such a mark in this world. He really was amazing in every aspect. I am so proud of him as a person. He really was destined to be someone great in this world since young.

if anyone is interested, the reason that the inspiration station song has a teaser but no mv is because the director apparently plagiarised another artists mv and sm decided not to release it, i remember there was quite a lot of talk about it at the time.

thank you for all the shinee intro videos! I really think it's a great way to get into them with all you cover in 20+ minutes, and I love how you include stuff that might not be very talked about in other guides or even the fandom such as jjong being so witty and fun at variety shows (that ending tho lmao)

También pienso eso, cada uno aporta algo para que 5HINee sea lo que es: una gran familia y unos excelentes artistas. En el caso de mi Dino además de aportar todo su talento, creo que él era el balance del grupo dentro y fuera del escenario, el que los apoyaba y animaba, el que siempre los extrañaba y se aseguraba de hacerles saber lo mucho que los amaba y lo importante que eran para él, también era el que aligeraba el humor, los hacía reír de manera inesperada. Él fue tantas cosas... No me puedo imaginar lo mucho que lo deben estar extrañando. Ahora aparentemente todo sigue igual con 5HINee, pero a la vez siento que fuera de los reflectores ellos no son los mismos, tal vez nunca vuelvan a serlo.

@@veryswank252 I'm just very old and Cloud Busting was her highest received album in the 80s (Running up that Hill is the main single, with Donald Sutherland in the video). This Woman's Work has a very very sad video, too, tho - with a British comedian (I mostly know him as a side character from Blackadder goes fourth) as feature.

@@veryswank252 Oh and re: Jonghyun crediting Maxwell => he heard the song from Maxwell's MTV Unplugged. We know that because Maxwell actually came to Korea once and guested on Jjong's Blue Night while he was there, so they talked about Jjong being a fan even as a 7-year-old. I think I'll do a new intro for the whole group that's more in style with these than the first SHINee guide. And maybe some other stuff. It might take a while again because I haven't really started anything yet, but I think it's fun to do videos so I'll probably do it more^^
