Fabulous conditions and what a location the chase is - my lad lived near here for a while and I always had plans to get along - but then he upped and mover... to Canada ! Atb for the workshops Steve. Fave image was the dancing trees.

Another cracking vlog from somewhere special to me! The pye green tower is part of operation Backbone, a system of towers all in the line of sight, for communication during the cold war. The area for sunrise also does very good sunset too, out to the west there isn't much between the Chase and The Wrekin, South Shropshire hills. (on a clear day you can see the north of the Brecon Beacons.) Fog and mist up on the tops is quite a rare thing, it's mainly a lower cloud base that brings in such conditions. There are plenty of groups of old trees dotted about the chase, with a higher concentration in Brocton coppice. Yesterday I noticed a large area of Silver birch trees removed giving even more space around the oaks, compositions have changed completely. Looks like this work is being done done quite a few areas too.

Fabulous images Steve and great conditions. I've often thought images read better right to left. I guess that's a good reason why the sun sets in the west. 🤣
