My husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer and went through chemo treatments last spring knowing when that was done the bladder would be removed which was last June. He now has an ostomy bag and he is cancer free! I hope Jose gets the treatment he needs!! One does what is necessary to stay on this beautiful planet just a little longer.

Sad to hear about Jose, my wife was diagnosed with stage two bladder cancer in June 2023, she underwent surgery followed by six months of viroimmunotherapy. At the end of January she had her first check up and the result was no evidence of disease. There is hope in early detection.

My brother in law beat bladder cancer in Australia, it is a treatable cancer if you catch it early enough, sadly my sons cancer is not as treatable, Neuroblastoma, but he’s beaten the odds, diagnosed at age 5 and still alive at 25…not cancer free but still alive, thanks to treating him in New York at MSKCC for 8 years. We did fund raise to get him there and miraculously it worked! He was given 6 months to live at age 5, they told me they couldn’t do anymore, after two rounds of chemo failed, and if I wanted more treatment I would have to go overseas and I would never be able to afford it. That was all the motivation I needed, to save his life and prove the doctors wrong, we managed to raise half a million AUD in less than a month and that was before KZfaq was a big thing! We did it with a self made website, a written daily blog and a few news interviews on radio and TV. Do a go fund me for Jose and save his life guys, no shame in that at all, you have the tools, a huge platform!

I’ve seen people with things hanging off trucks all the time in the states. My father was a contractor and built his own house in the Florida keys. They just put a little flag on. I am Zenathe Warrior . When I left the hospital after being pulled out of a sailboat in KeyWest Florida. I had total respiratory failure was in ICU for 4 days. I remember Dr nothing except punching 911 to my friend up top. Anyway when I left I found a necklace in my wallet with my things and it said warrior on it! They said it was with my things. I never saw it before .thus warrior princess tag.😂

He worked hard his whole life and raised my four kids and is even 11 years younger than me. We found out a year ago in August that he has Prostrate cancer stage 4. He had no warning signs and was always healthy. Now we struggle by wondering if we will still be able to live the life he wanted. He is 56 years old. So I will pray for your friend.

Bladder cancer can be survivable or deadly. My brother and husband were diagnosed within months of each other. My brother had the tumors removed and had the non chemo (BCD) treatment and is now cancer free. My husband caught his very early, had the tumors removed, 12 weeks of chemo, radical bladder removal surgery and neo bladder creation. He never fully regained his strength and health. The aggressive form of his bladder cancer metastasized to other parts of his body. He started another round of chemo (both did nothing to stop the cancer) as well as he started immunotherapy (he had adverse effect which sped up the cancer growth). He was diagnosed in September 2020 (tumors were removed Oct 26 - stage 2) and passed away in February 2023. he spent over 4 months in the hospital. Bladder cancer must be caught and treated quickly or has a very high mortality rate. It can be aggressive... Both were diagnosed at 57 yrs my husband died at 59 yrs. old. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend for the best possible outcome. it is a horrible disease.❤❤

Love your hair cut and the colour. Sorry to say but you look like a local now. I feel for use. Cancer has affected us so profoundly in the past years, loosing so so many love ones to it. Living with it personally for 10 years and helping others with treatment is humbling. I hate to say some times we feel the treatments are worse than the disease and have to push through. May be a special coffee/blend to honour his contribution to coffee and his philosophy of sharing.

It's great having animals to take care of, especially when you go away for weeks/months at a time and it becomes someone else's chore. Soooo, you know !

I use to help my folks make butter from the cows milk cream. It was work but so good. Dad let the milk sit in a gallon jar till the cream rose to the top, dip it out and put it in the MANUAL butter churn. It took hours of churning up and down from all family members to form the butter block but so good.
