Hey lily, i've had problems sleeping for 2 weeks now since a death in the family and it really struck me hard. I just wanted to say thanks for creating this because when i lay in bed and listen to your music, i feel a lot more at peace and it can ease myself to sleep from time to time. No one is going to read this but I want to write down my feelings right now. I'm in the middle of some really serious exams, like life-changing exams, and I've been preparing for them for about 2 years now. I wanted to listen to this song to relax but instead I started tearing up...were they tears of sadness? I don't think so...were they tears of joy? Probably...I immediately thought of all the things I've been through...the huge amounts of stress, the "pain" and effort put into every single minute to achieve an ultimate goal. My stress-free days of junior high school and the fun I've had all these years. I am just happy that I've held on, giving my best self to the world as much as I can and hoping to one day reach my "destination"... I really hope this is one of those songs where they get associated with a memory you never forget. I want everyone out there to know that I really hope you find things in life that are really passionate about and keep doing them and working hard...striving to reach your own "destination" one day.

@@rileysokolow Well I hit a pretty high scores in those exams mentioned in thr comment and I got into the University that I "wanted". For one year now we've been doing internet lessons and exams and I can safely say that this is the worst year I have ever lived. 0 motivation to do anything, I am failing the classes, still no girlfriend and stress got me having stomach aches many nights, more than I can count. I have the ability to change University but I don't know if it's the classes that I don't like and are ultimately the reason I'm failing or if it's just the fact that internet lessons suck so I can't even decide that. And University is like 4-5 years it's something that requires serious decision making. This comment may seem depressing but I haven't lost my dream yet. A place that no university can take you to. So I just keep visualising...The day I finally there...And then I remember what my maths teacher told me. He used to quote a line of a poem from a fanous greek poet. It says that you should always have your mind in your goal but don't expect from your goal to make you happy and don't expect for it to give you "treasures"(metaphorically) once you reach that goal. The treasures should instead be found on your way there and it is much better for you to reach your goal after many years, when you are old, filled with many treasures found along the way. That gives me hope for the future...Thanks for asking btw!

I think I like the classical-style compositions like this a little better than the chill/lofi hiphop beats. The beats are still good, but there’s so much more emotion when the orchestration is stripped down to just solo piano or piano and violin.

i always find comfort in Lilys’ pieces, whenever i’m struggling or doing anything out of my comfort level, Lily and her songs just always seem to make me feel at home for some reason... they’re like a safe haven, somewhere i can rest and just relax entirely with the reason or exception, that’s what i’ve always loved about her playing, and now that she’s actually making music for herself, well to be blunt the tears of joy rolling down my cheeks say enough, thank you for always being there :>

So there was a deaf girl in my school she was bullied for not hearing I wanted to talk to her so I learned to how to communicate with her, AT lunch I sat next to her and said if we could be friends she seem hesitate but eventually said yes we became best friends we hang out together AND one Day her mother bought her hearing thing idk what you call it but her mom said thAt it would make her hear the first thing I did was to make her listen to this song and she loved it fast forward unfortunately they moved to Canada I haven't seen her in a while I hope she's ok

a non-existent nostalgia. it's reminiscent yet you can't quite figure it out. upon not being about to think of what this is, you begin to have a subtle yet empowering feeling bubbling gently inside. a strong feeling of what's to come - something fantastical. something so mysterious, yet you feel at ease - you know it'll be alright and that this uncertainty is not one that you should fear.

This is really really incredible. I can hear the different inspirations from other sources of music. Like this has elements of an Anime Soundtrack but also a K-Drama OST. In the Chorus I hear little samples from K-Drama OSTs that makes me so amazed and enthralled about the quality of music I hear from Lily. The music makes you feel settled yet longing for something more, which mixes in well with the title "a vision". Its like viewing a starry night with fireflies surrounding you, and a moment where time seems to yield in the beauty of the moment. But most of all, this music doesn't feel sad or depressing at all. It feels more settled and grounded where there isn't a mourning for a better life, but rather an appreciation of the life we have. It gives me a sense to admire the beauty of the world we live in and to find peace within ourselves. I'm so glad that Lily is making music like this because it resonates with the emotions I feel and the acceptance of who I am as a person. Isn't amazing how only 2 minutes and 48 seconds of music can be so colorful and amazing. Thank you Lily for making awe-inspiring music like this.

The change of rhythm from a melancholy tune to a more hopeful one like trying to evouqe two different segments that intertwined itself by tiny bits of hope are amazing. Every song on this channel feels like an old friend even the first time I hear it. Nearly lost memories floating back up. This song makes me think about my earliest flirtations and the first girl I ever truly loved. The memories are happy but there is some pain there, missed opportunities in the end because I was young and stupid with emphasis on the stupid. I can't help but wonder "what if...?"
