A Visit to Binga: Jeannie's Hospital Visit - Earlier this year, we shared with you the inspiring story of our dear friend, Jeannie Burns Buckner, who had a vision to bring healthcare to people living in a very remote area of Zimbabwe. In collaboration with Love for Africa, the Angel of Hope Foundation and MATTER, the Jeannie Burns Buckner Maternity and Pediatric Hospital has been built and is now serving the needs of the 40,000 people in Binga and surrounding villages.

I m travelling between Hwange and Kariba twice a year on holiday and the poverty is tremendeous, however you never experience grumpy or desperate locals but cheerful and positive ones.

Appreciating that Europeans have benefited tremendously from Africa 's resources.Great if it's not part of Western propaganda and a negative portrayal of Africa.Given my exposure to the Western mind's perception of of our continent and people we know the legacies serve other narratives.
