The steam workshop would be on my list of top 10 places to go post a lottery win.... wow!

With a modern generator the traction engine would be great for living off grid or as an emergency generator... then cruising downtown to pick up chicks.

It was pleasing to see you at the controls, rather frightening to watch Simon going at high speed. Yes, that was not only entertaining but also enlightening, one could even say illuminating. Thank you.

Another great 'miniature' model. I keep promising myself that I'll go up one day and buy that articulated 2" Clayton, but at the rate I'm saving ... There's always something that needs to be spent on. (Just bought a very nice Mamod lorry that I'm waiting to be delivered!)

Although it´s no race engine but a Showman TE it´s great to see the ability to go v e r y fast if she needs to but low gear suits her better I suppose

I know its a scaled down from a full size, but does anyone have idea the horse power that small engine would have?
@DrAllan14 жыл бұрын
4 inch scale is incredibly deceptive untill you get someone next to it to give a real sense on how big it really is!

Suggestion - put a video camera on the front, a screen in front of the driver, and a higher smokestack -- then you can see where you're going ;-) / steampunk modernization

Amazing stuff! Thanks so much! So this type of thing was used to power a circus or show of some kind? Interesting. All we would need is this and some fuel. And, a few other things. Good to see it out for a ride.
@rileygray27132 жыл бұрын
Not a circus it powers fairgrounds

Talos is a Greek word, coming from the Greek myth and means colossus (in Latin) or giant (in English), which would perfectly fit to the original size of the traction engine.
