Everything Bowden said is correct. It's time to get real and accept that this window is not a good bet for us. lets drop the bad bet and start building for a few years from now. make it a well-timed, quick retooling/rebuild. Aim for a new window to start in 2026.

Not hard to predict this embarrassment. The team was not good enough last year and management made the team much worse this year.

Make no mistake...Shapiro makes every major decision in the Jay's front office. Ross is just the guy doing the paperwork. ROGER's fire them both and bring is baseball people...Mark and Ross don't understand how to run a team...See AA in ATL for an example.

Has atkins has been an embarrassment. Mark shapiro has a been a fool.. letting go of a hall of famer in AA, bragging about “renovations” for the dome. Charging $30 for food and beer… HORRIFIC.

The Hype of Vladdy Guerrerro has run out its course. His best years were the Covid years playing in the Band Boxes of Buffalo and Dunedin. He is not in the top five First Basemen in the League. (Freeman,Olson,Alonso,Goldschmidt,Harper) He will be looking to get paid as one of the elite First baseman. If he is not showing up before getting paid the potential going forward will only diminish.

Yeah I think Vladdy is going to be a career good hitter (0.850 OPS) but not a career great hitter like his dad (0.930 OPS). He’s still much better than Goldschmidt currently. I agree with others in your Top 5 even though Olson has been struggling a little this year.

Vlad jr is no Vlad Sr. I think he should have had more a&w burgers he might gain more weight .

Vlad was our top hitter last year -- what do you think you are going to find in the minors? If we trade Vlad we will be waiting at least 5 -10 years to make playoffs.
