The Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene , AKA as the Parish of Saint John the Baptist and Quiapo Church. The basilica is home of the Black Nazarene, a dark miraculous statue of Jesus Christ.
The earliest version of the church, was built in 1574. The church was continuously rebuilt after wars, earthquakes and fires. The current reconstruction was conferred the title Basilica Minor of the Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno in 1988.
