This is a message preached by Jeremiah Johnson at Patricia King's Encounter Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. In this message, Jeremiah Johnson warns prophetic people and leaders from all around the Body of Christ the dangers of carrying an accusatory heart and critical spirit towards other and how the Bible instructs us as His body to be unified in order to be effective in His Kingdom.

I will never "have someone's back" if they are abusing the weak. To promise to support someone irrespective of what they do is ignorant and evil.

This is true! I have been under this voice but in the Lord I’m learning to partner with the voice of the blood speaking over their lives! The Lord takes the work of the enemy and turns it for good!!!

Best message I have heard in a long time! I have experienced this accusation of the enemy for years and every church I go to I just wait for it to happen. :( but I do feel in this season God is turning it around and it is a new Era! Praise God 👏 🙌

Alarm bells go off when we are instructed to "help people" who are offending other people. Shouldn't we be careful not to be a respecter of persons? Just because someone wants to take on "ministry" doesn't mean that they can rape girls, steal from people and extort, freely, demanding forgiveness for their "mistakes"/sins. This is enabling sin! Overlooking blatant sin is not godly. And it is not mercy! Repentance must occur before mercy. We are commanded to forgive, but not condone sin. Otherwise we entertain the devil. Jesus intercedes for the humble, not the proud sinner. Reconciliation is only possible for those who confess their sin and repent.

No Christian should live in sin at all they should confess their sins to God a church that cuddles sin is a church the cuddles the devil everyone should be repenting not saying it's ok 2 sin

So let’s do away with calling people to repentance? Let’s stop rebuking people that sin openly. Paul you were wrong in calling Peter out and doing it publicly? Let’s just see the good in people? Hey dude, yeah you that refuses to turn from living in open sin, take your time, it’s okay? It's not true that the only thing hindering reconciliation is pride. Mostly it is refusal to confess sin and repent. These people can do this for many reasons. But the instruction given to the sinner is clear; confess and repent. Sowing into the abusive is NOT what Jesus preached. While forgiveness is independent of repentance, reconciliation isn't.

Jesus came to save us from our sin, not in it! God only has mercy on the repentant. The unrepentant only get His wrath. Today is the day of salvation. Love is kind, yet it snatches sinners out of the flames, it doesn't protect them there. We need to be careful that we don't preach a "gospel" of tolerance for sin! If "a believer" is living in sin and refuses to repent when rebuked, we are instructed not to even eat with that person. We are instructed to judge that "believer"! A little yeast spreads through the whole batch of dough. However it is true that we are not to judge anyone secondhand! Gossip is evil and destructive. Encouraging each other to follow Christ closely is the source of unity, as well as being submitted to our Head, Jesus Christ. Love is kind and sees the good in people. And the potential too. In God, our potential is much extended past personal attributes. If we walk in the Spirit, focussing on soulish things is futile. The Spirit has God's higher way. To walk by the Spirit is to be led by Him. Romans 8:13&14

This was a much needed message for me to hear. When you mention being judged for every idle word, does that mean we can’t repent and be forgiven? If so, I don’t know how to measure up to that standard! 😢

@@HandleWhat. I’ve heard several pastor’s teach that it’s for believers, and I’m like man I’m really in trouble!! I’m barely going to make it to heaven. Lol. I’ve heard others preach that this is for unbelievers and the context of this scripture was Jesus talking to the Pharisees. I prefer the teaching that allows forgiveness!
