Makgora as it should be according to lore (almost) no gear only ceremonial clothing + weapon of your choice. no spells poisons enchants. Remember Garrosh took army to Thunder Bluff because Magatha Grimtotem caused him to "cheat" on makgora by poisoning Garrosh's weapon without him knowing it when he fought Cairne Bloodhoof

the only problem being the no upgrades on the fist weapons for insane amounts of levels, you do no damage you can just die from that alone.

On the topic of punching to 60, Fist Weapons are actually pretty good but there isn't really any after 30. I want to do an Assassination Fist Weapon Rogue run where you have dual wield 1.5 speed weapons and your instant poisons are proccing like crazy.

Does Xar know about Heroic strike canceling? Because you can def get a lot of benefit from queueing HS and canceling it to get a higher hit % on your off hand autos (unless that is not a thing in this version of classic, but I think it is).

Pro tip: never retal against a retaling war if you health is lower. The infinite loop will kill you first, as it almost happened to xar here. Luckily, i guess he missed one attack which broke the infinite loop that would have killed him. Btw, he got smoked by a rogue. Being a "barb" makes he start a duel with 10 stacks of sunder. He should be makgora phys dmg classes, they are his nemesis.

When he goes down to 13%, for two frames you can see it says "Parry" on his character icon. That probably broke it, but even then that would have killed him if it did not parry.

@@alireischl9394 those 5 levels don't make a big difference. The arms warrior also wears an insanely good weapon for that level range, fully geared (big armor value advantage) as well as the arms > fury advantage when it comes to retal usage ... So Xaryu had very bad odds of actually winning this.

I didn't know you could duel under the stairs, I always did it outside of the bank. I was on a server so that so unbalanced and there was hardly any Alliance so IF was never too over crowded.

Xar only survived that mak'gora because he got out of range of the retaliation infinite loop. If he was there for even 1/10 of a second longer he wouldve been retaliated on again

actually good bait, with that title and after the intro showing an arms warri pop retal against you as a fury I was certain you died. But I was really surprised when you didn't anticipiate that arms almost always wins over fury, simply because retal perfectly plays into your weakness and his strength - you do many small hits triggering retal and they fucking hurt because he's using a twohander. And it's such a difference that it usually outpaces level differences. Starting the duel in d-stance with a disarm ready would've been your way to go, or kiting the retal out.

If you love classic and you die to a level 14 boar you get a free xfer to Whitemane and continue playing its all good. Also whatever you do don't duel around mobs spawn areas, then proceeds to do so.
