A 2022 Wedding Video from Goldsborough Hall. A return visit to Goldsborough Hall for me. This awesome venue is situated on the outskirts of Harrogate and is the perfect venue for any wedding.
Who am I?
Thanks for stopping by. I'm Pete and I'm an established wedding videographer based in the North of England, on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Filming weddings is a passion as well as a job. I am always honoured to be asked to capture a couples’ big day so they can treasure and watch it back for years to come.
Why choose me?
I often ask my couples why they selected me to film their wedding, as opposed to all the other wedding videographers out there. They almost unanimously say it’s because my work has a natural, informal feel while remaining stylish and contemporary. My background in documentary film making means that I like to film events as they happen naturally, taking a discreet approach without trying to force or fake anything.
What’s my approach?
For me, the wedding day is of course about the bride and groom, it is their big day after all. Having said that it’s not ALL about the bride and groom, but it’s also a big day for the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the ushers, the flower girl, the pageboy, the mums and dads, the brothers and sisters, the cousins, wider family and friends, you can see where I’m going with this. Everybody plays their part and not to forget to mention the suppliers: the dresses, the suits, the cake, the venue, the band, the flowers etc etc. I see it as my job to capture as much of the vibe of the day as possible, and that would not be possible without the participation of everyone mentioned above. I love capturing it all, from the anticipatory bridal preparations, through to the emotional vows, all the way up to guests throwing shapes on a packed dance floor.
Your Wedding
Even after 15 years in this business and over 400 weddings under my belt, I still get a thrill at turning up at the venue on the morning of the wedding. Whether that is a vast country estate, or a small village church, I approach every wedding the same. I love to capture your day with the minimal amount of fuss, and to provide a beautifully crafted film that you can watch back for years to come. All the atmosphere, the emotion, and all the laughter and love. It really is a once in a lifetime, unique event that deserves to be beautifully captured.
