HEYYY look who's back with a Hong Kong vlog!!! :D
I hope yall are doing well :) July has been quite a crazy month for me so far, mostly because i need to sort out so many things before leaving Hong Kong... but overall I'm doing good!
During my FUNemployment era, I got the chance to be a tourist again & explore around for 5 days straight - yes, this couch potato went out! :D It's crazy because all these places are just... places, on my ordinary days, but now that i'm leaving, they become somewhat personal. Everywhere I go, there are some memories attached.
Anyways I do think that I could've explored more & recorded better but I'm pretty happy with this video, honestly. I hope you guys find it enjoyable (and maybe nostalgic too).

**please read** Just a random 2AM thoughts after reading an interesting comment below - *"Living in Hong Kong"* is a digital diary about my adulting journey; an ordinary life as a 20 something. I have 2 main reasons for creating it: one, to keep some memories on records (for my future self), and two, to help other people in some other ways (giving useful info, or just sharing some random, nostalgic moments about HK). In conclusion: *it's never intended to make an "impression" (good or bad) about HK as a place* - why, because i simply don't really bother. I believe every place has its own + and - points, and I think it's a subjective matter. So if you're watching my HK videos (especially THIS vlog) and think that I'm only trying to make HK look "good", you're wrong. Again, this is about *my* journey, and just like any other human being... i have my better days, i have my rainy ones. My HK life is not always rainbows and pretty sunsets - I, too, experience my lows here, but I just prefer to not talk about it publicly (doesn't mean I neglect it happened). If you're watching my HK videos, please bear in mind that you're watching HK through my lens (and how I *decide* to visualize it, and that I choose to do it positively). the way you make videos is simply, each new one is more and more enjoyable! everything about it: the 'make me feel' atmosphere through your camera, the dynamics overlap with properly chosen music, good interactions of you speaking... - all of it shines! i always look forward to a new video from you! 加油👍👍

Sheren🥺 somehow youtube didn't tell me you uploaded this so I'm stumbling across this late 🥲 I really loved this final hk vlog of yours, stunning quality, editing and shots as always with your videos! I haven't been able to go back to hk for years and miss the city so much - maybe the quarantine will end by December :( either way, I'm sad you've left already and wish you the absolute best with your new chapter in seoul! Here's to fresh beginnings. You were literally the first channel I found for watching hk vlogs when I began missing the city. I'm sad I won't be able to see anymore of your hk life but we all must move on and have fresh life changes. Thank you for making such wonderful content for us all these years. Will really miss it ♡

When are you leaving? I'm kinda' half looking forward to and half dreading when the time comes to say goodbye to Hong Kong. I really used to love this place, but now I just don't have those feelings anymore, and I know some day I'm going to visit all my favourite places again for one last time and say goodbye.

i'll be leaving very soon actually... and yeah it's exactly what you describe - half excited, half unhappy. for me it's just because i feel like leaving my "comfort" place for the past 9 years, is a very bittersweet feeling. are you also leaving HK soon or you already left?

@@sherendev I’ve decided to stay for a while longer. Just hoping quarantine is relaxed so I can fly out for a bit during Christmas or CNY. It’s very disheartening when your have friends leaving every few weeks though. I hope you enjoy your next adventure, be sure to keep your channel updated 🙂😎

Oh? i went there last week and took the cable car to Ngong Ping Village and then walk to Giant Buddha, but the stairs were under renovation.

I enjoyed watching your vlog. I clicked immediately I saw you were a KZfaqr hear in HK, I recently relocated to HK I was curious to know the kind of contents KZfaqrs in HK make and hoping to get acquainted with one or two KZfaqr in HK. Just when I was getting excited, that i have found one KZfaqr in HK and see if we can meet up, so you show me around and we get to share ideas concerning KZfaq creation but watching your vlog i discovered you are moving, so sad. But I wish you all the best. I'll plan to visit some of this sights you share on your vlog. Nice one 👍

This video gives a false impression of Hong Kong. I might do a response video to educate people on real life in Hong Kong. You will find Hong Kong isn't a racially diverse international city. Racism and discrimination effect the daily lives of Non Chinese living in the city. The beaches and waters around Hong Kong are full of garbage. Respect and conservation of wild life isn't a priority in the city.

if you look at my channel it’s mostly intended to keep track of how “i” live my life here - not the best life, but just ok. but i think saying “false impression of HK” is a bit too much cuz i didn’t even say anything here? Haha again, it’s my days in HK and how I see HK as my 2nd home for the past 9 years. Anyways, i think everyone is entitled to give opinions or make a visualization about Hong Kong. You can definitely make a response video (i dunno what you’d like to response from mine cuz again i literally just went out and enjoy my days LOL). Goodluck tho.
