Indigenous Standz Never quite understood negativity. It’s human nature to not agree with someone or something at times, that I can comprehend, but to take so much mental energy to physically go out of ones way to let others know you disagree is pointless, what’s the motivation? It’s easier to just keep it moving. Anyway, you’re most welcome.😊

I love you! Simple natural products provided by nature. As a child I had butt length hair because my grandma used only things found in nature on my hair (aloe, cactus, coconut milk and oil, castor oil). I have returned to my roots and am watching my hair thrive and grow. Thank you for being Unapologetically you ..NATURAL and BEAUTIFUL! Cantu what??? Denman Brush where???🤣. You are proof positive that our hair will thrive and grow without all the crazy products and the fuss.

The flaxseed gel is genius! I was just thinking about this the other day when I was sealing the ends of my natural hair ( I use the L.O.C. method and then braid my hair in 6 plaits). The issue that I was having was the ends getting tangled also. I did not want to use a commercial sealer/gel but I MUST give the flaxseed gel a try. I wish she would do a full length check tutorial and blow/flat iron her hair.

I love your raw videos; no bells and whistles just showing us your day to day hair routine. Reminds of the old natural hair videos from back in 2008/2010. I miss those days. So why did you use the Aloe gel instead of the flax seed gel to retwist the front/edges of your hair?
@IndigenousStrandz11
@IndigenousStrandz11 5 жыл бұрын
ThisOwl because when the flaxseed gel dries it dries really hard creating flakes thats why i only use it on my ends it dont seem to flake there

You have inspired me to spend more time on myself. My hair comes to the middle of my butt and I absolutely dread doing my hair because it takes so long. I’ve even cut it so it can stay at that length to avoid doing more hair. Smh. I used to do twists and it made my life so much easier. Just tied a scarf on every night and called it a day. I’m going back to that. Thanks for this video. 🙌🏾 Side note: you are not lazy. I definitely am when it comes to my hair. Also, us girls with long hair have strong arms 😂😩

@@IndigenousStrandz11 That is a good advise. I never thought of having a stylist twist my hair. I always have done it myself without extension.

or even do chunkier twist so you don't have to do as many. Do you have any daughters? have them help you. My sisters and I maintain our mothers natural hair

Love the video dont worry about the time. I need to revisit twists, when i used to do twist i'd get alot of two strand knots at the end which is why i stopped.

Barely loced. interesting that is what I was thinking of doing with natural individual braids( no extensions)...re twisting at the root to freshen up. I never saw anyone do this...thanks for the confirmation.

Hi. How are you. Love the video! I use lilly of the valley on my hair in all my DYI’s for my hair. It gives me shine and it detangles my hair well. My hair almost takes on the straightened look. I have a few aloe vera plants that I use when I have more time for hair care. Lilly of the valley works well foe a face mask and a body mask. Thumbs up to your video! I appreciate you taking the time out to share your routine. Thanks so much! One more thing. Aloe vera gives great moisture when it is used with castor oil. Take care and you are appreciated ! Most of all you are an inspiration to me🥂🥑😀🌹

Lynette Hos You can’t possibly mean Lily of the Valley. It’s highly poisonous. Do you mean Lily of the Desert?

@@lonnie4827 Hi. Actually I mixed up the name of my aloe vera gel. It is Lilly of the desert. Thanks for looking out for me and letting me know. I appreciate you for that information. 😃I am going to do a search on aloe vera gel brands.😃 Thumbs up!

#barelylockedmethod ! I love seeing how intentional you are with your hair care. There goes to show all those folks who said your genes is what contributed most to your length. I have used the fruit of the earth gel back when I first went natural 12 years ago. Then I was hooked on eco styler for the large portion. Now I am weaning myself so I think I’ll go pick up a bottle of the aloe gel.

Thank you so very much for this video. I was like idk how ppl keep twist without them turning into dreads. My hair was so terrible I was like I’m never do twist again. You definitely motivated me to try them again.
