I always bring my Kindle to nail appointments to do some reading. The ladies are so used to it so they don't do the small talk. Which I appreciate. And one of the reasons I continue to go to that specific place.

Yes, I don't like getting my nails done because of the time commitment. So, I stopped getting SNS and just do a regular mani pedi every 2 weeks. As for the talking, I keep my answers short so they get the hint.

i dont like going to nail salons at all its never relaxing, small talking, and overcharge for everything. I do my nails at home , relaxed watching my show 😉

No, I don’t think it’s rude at all. I think they a lot of times don’t want to talk as well but they do it for the customer. I think if you tell them like oh, I’m gonna listen to this podcast I’m gonna have my AirPods, and after a few visits I think they get the point that you’re not a chatter.
