Drone use in Ontario Provincial Parks (and Canadian National Parks) is prohibited. Can't even bring a radio into Algonquin Park because of how the noise carries across the water. Would definitely make for good footage though.

That's not exactly true. National parks in Canada restrict the use of ALL aircraft including drones, but does not ban them. If you fly a float plane into a national park, such as I have, you need to contact and get permission from the park superintendent first. They will then let you know which lakes are suitable and which are not allowed due to noise restrictions or wildlife management. Same goes for drone use. Contacting the park superintendent ahead of time to gain permission is not hard. If Joe merely spoke to them, directed them to his youtube channel, and explained the purpose of scope of use, I have no doubt he would get permission to film using a drone. They may impose restrictions, such as designated no fly zones, just as they do for float planes. But the park superintendents are usually very accommodating and will work with you if you are professional in your approach.

Joe, you need to try to not let these people that keep giving you negative feedback get you down or make you doubt yourself or your abilities. You handle yourself very well...you have a very natural way of interacting with the camera that makes the viewer feel like they are actually having a one-on-one conversation with you! That is the point, right? To give each viewer the opportunity to experience your adventures with you?! You are wonderful at that! Every time you take one of these trips or do solo adventures, I learn something...I really appreciate that! Keep up the good work and just have fun!! Stay safe and I look forward to your next adventure!!
