My weekend was off to a horrible start. I lost my job and my wife ran off with my step father. Only thing that could turn my weekend around was a new vid from Jersey Digs. Appreciate it, Silver Sniffer. Hopefully your next dig could be my lovely wife.

That ring at 14:30 is part of a compression fitting. They are cool to find.👍👍

Thank you, Russell. You could be right on that but it did have enough design to it to make me think it was a ring. Planning on venturing into some woods this weekend if the rain holds off for some old homesteads. Hoping for the best

Our honey hole is near it's end. Probably a few more treasures to be had for sure, but time to find the next one. Saw your bottle cap comment, yes they need some rust on them to be filtered

my first n only war nickel was my first silver coin and def found with luck over experience/knowledge, been workin on my nickel signals trying to get another cause i like them more than rosies… i also had a good streak since the tail end of january, got multiple silvers every week, which ended last week, where my better finds were a super cycle and a single wheat lol, oh well, LG35 arrives tomorrow and ill be returning to a old permission as well as couple of my go-to elementaries ! better luck on ur next hunts !!!

Agreed. I feel like they're harder to come by since they hide in those low tones. Gotta dig em all! Good luck with the LG35 on your permission, I'm the extra depth and ground coverage you'll find more goodies. And yes fingers crossed! We got out today and got kicked off our first spot by a cop! Guy didn't even let us talk to him I asked why we were being kicked off public land and he had no answer. Happy hunting

oh dang, well it got me a ROUGH 1905 V Nickel, which was so hard to seing in over griwn thick weeks, and then yesterday it got me my first shiny washjngton, which was not deep by any means and should have found over a year ago when i was pounding that soot with my simplex lol

We got snow right now, id love to get out I'm pretty bored, I might do a coin roll hunt on Monday cause there will still be snow around

I've always wanted to try my hand at coin roll hunting. Hate the snow. For us here it's just cold and raining making it miserable. Sunday should be a good one for us hoping to try some old homesteads we found

Yeah, I've been looking for new spots but this week didn't prove too fruitful. Have a few more in mind I plan on trying out. Seem more promising than these

@@JerseyDigs bottle cap setting works really well well on those old caps from the 50s or early 60s since aluminum is considered a valuable metal only those older bounty hunters we’re able to disk that out w out making the tones sound like shit i still occasionally use mine 3300 discovery for that purpose the only sad thing the separation is poor but on a depth bed I made it smacks the coins better then my legend and my simplex blasted it in field mode I ha a SLQ set up at 8 inches with a buffalo at 5 and a IHP at 6 with a few nails all in a 10 inch hole in bad ground lol

Bottle caps only work s on old rusty bottle caps like really old sites
