All I want to know is how to get the night shots to look like that, mine would be a grainy mess. Teach us next time?

Don't use too much ISO (high), this will always mess your shots, and turn into grainy, also get a good prime lens, like 1.4 aperture or 2.8, there is even 1.2 (depending on which brand camera you have), trust me, every photographer-video should carry a prime lens, because those are the ones with better aperture and will help your shots look more crisp :)

also kinda depends on your camera, some are just really good in low light and some are, as you say, a grainy mess.

Yea I use a G7 with a f1.4 and shit still is grainy af because of the sensor size i guess

Yeah micro FT isn't ideal. Matt's using full frame so he gets a lot better and cleaner low light performance from his setup

a7sii with a moderate iso and a low aperture lens will do the trick!
