The cars a beauty nice to see some still alive same colour as my 79 1.6 GLS (RVH 5T) which went to car heaven in 94 always miss that car thanks for sharing

Lovely Scirocco! It’s quite amazing how tiny the MK 1 is in comparison to every other vehicle in the video isn’t it? 😅

A beautiful colour! Had 2 Mk1's in my time. A BRG manual with a Webasto roof, and a metallic gold GLS Auto. The latter was a hoot, as the auto, although 3 speed, could be wound up for rapid getaways, yet provide very relaxing and smooth city driving, with the compact and easy to place body and great handling allowing one to weave. The steering was a delight but the brakes...er, no. Not good.

I still almost weep at the day I sold my Mk1 Storm in 1996 😢..... Anyway I bought a Mk1 1.6 gli last week thats helped cheer me up especially will when it’s all restored. Nice video man , been in love with those cars for longer than my wife 🤣
