funny thing here is great combustion does significantly more damage than black flame, black flame is only for its poise damage

@@mollywhoppedsouls_pvp depends, kicks are usually the best, black flame is for breaking 61 poise, but kicks can usually combo into an r1 from weapons like chaos blade, and on switch black knight great axe gets an r1 combo off from kick. Generally speaking though, great combustion does around 2-300 damage more on average, and is more worth it than black flame because of kicks

@@Shrooman_01 It's active? That's a surprise. I'm on NG+6, never once have I been invaded. I cannot find worlds to invade. And I've sat in the DLC arena for hours searching for players before.

This is why DS2's soul memory is almost a better system than level-based matchmaking, all it needed was to lose soul memory when you die and get it back when you pick up those souls so you don't end up with higher soul memory than someone who's used and who has the same amount of souls as you (and probably some numerical tweaks)

You do know that invasions are paired by level? Some of the spells he wielded were ng+, meaning he beat the game while staying at a low enough level and weapon reinforcement to be paired with players at the beginning of the game. One of the spells he used was also locked behind Artorias which is considered one of the harder bossfights in the game, even more so when you have very little stats, since you can't knock him out of his damage buff.

⁠​⁠@@skye6184You actually can stop artorias' buff even when underleveled, because staggering him is based off the (flat) poise damage of your weapon type, and not actual health damage.

@@Freshomania I only disconnect if the invader has OP gear, if it's a normal player I'll fight since it's actually fair and I'm not getting one shotted by a player running dark magic with full giants armor

Edit: the invader wasn't using the dark bead. They're using the dark orb spell, which is a slow spell with no tracking

are you trolling, combustion is one of the best spells in pvp and he has oolacile catalyst with dark orb to oneshot people who assume dark bead roll timings lol

@xt2l-x6r I am not trolling I'm aware that gcombust and bf are some of the best spells in pvp, but they aren't some kind of "op end game spells" like people described The point is that the invader is falsely stigmatized and I felt bad for them. It's not the op's fault just the general reaction to the concept of invading makes me feel depressed. I didn't know about the dark orb trick. It has been a meme spell for a while so I never thought of that. Thx for pointing it out

He isn't a cheater, he didn't do anything weird that could indicate he was one

no cheats here, only a little glitch that allows dark hand being wielded in both hands (accessable for everyone)

@@LuisCarlos-oo9im if you wield a weapon which can be 2-handed (but you're currently 1-handing it), roll, press the button to 2-hand and switch to dark hand (all during the roll), you can also wield it in both hands. Damage still goes through like with 1 hand (80% damage reduction all across the parameters) but you don't get any stamina damage at all, great for gankers with twop

Right yer. I’m sure that guy just plays around with everyone… specifically new or low level players while he is completely twinked tf out. Telling people to just play offline solves NOTHING. Being online has a lot of positives like seeing player ghosts and messages/bloodstaines. The world feels more alive with those elements. Sad zit covered geeks who just twink themselves and have a 100% chance to kill players like the ones in the video ultimately ruin the game and are part of the reason why pvp is so divisive in these games. And what you say doesn’t even make sense… “he could have just one shotted you” bruh he is literally like a predator playing with his prey. The prey can do literally nothing to win and it’s hopeless. All that player can do is wait for him to kill him. How is that better than just getting oneshot? Atleast kill me quickly so I can carry on enjoying this amazing game. Hi man! You are ignoring end game spells on lvl like 30 invasion and 30 vitality invader either. This guy was way more levelled, and ds1 is equipement based matchmaking. Furthermore, the invader already rushed dlc while this poor man is coming to the church in new game (since halberd is not picked up yet). Poor soul. If he had 40 lvls more, with few upgrades in dmg, he would have beaten his as in few hits Edit: It's not matchmaking equipment based but lvl based, so we have still a disparity in terms of dmg (meta build vs casual one, which is virtually weaker).
