This game actually looks so good, I played the original Super Meat Boy back in 2017, and I still play it now, it's awesome. I actually remember hearing about this game a long time ago, probably in 2018-2019 or so, and I didn't really bother buying it, not sure why, but now that I've finally remembered about this game, and after seeing this review, I REALLY want to get this game at some point, I'm putting it at the top of my Steam wishlist for now, it actually goes on sale very often according to steamdb, I'm definitely getting this game eventually, especially since platformers have been my favorite video game genre since 2016, thanks for the review, but I probably would've gotten it anyway, looking at the steam page and trailer alone (which I did even before watching this review) had me sold.

This is probably the best platformer I've played, even tho i got stucked at 99% (thanks super mega cart) the experience was amazing and once i get new controllers I'll almost surely replay it

I tried to 100% super meat boy anf give up after failing to unlock the kid so i could have an easier time with most stages. That spiketales mod gave me a heart attack when i released you had a double jump and when i paused to look closer the lives display had a number and i thought it gave you limited lives, the thought of that made me scream

Hmmmmmmmmm I've seen mark play this beforehand and drop it after talking about another game he also dropped. This essay was pretty amazing and props to you for being able to grind it out by thus much!! Although this game looks very overwhelming.... The amount of hidden things and challenges are very scary for someone who isn't a whole fan of platformers, so i think I'll pass on this one for now. Maybe it's just like a Rainworld thing, at first it looks very intimidating but at the end, you'll end up having memorized almost every single room
