Get out of those nasty chlorinated pools and into the wild !
In the Aussie summer when it’s 35° and rising, the best place to be is in the local water hole. A secret spot deep in the forest of the Perth Hills, Western Australia is also a favourite place for the local cockatoos, which screech in the gum trees above the dam. Long neck turtles can also be glimpsed when they surface for air.
Canon EOS760D with various lenses
GoPro with a DJI drone and Shoot 2.5 dome port.
Bird sounds recorded with a Tascam DR-05.

didn't see this comment Margot. (YT is strange at times with notifications). Are you from WA? I try and get over most Christmases, I live in the UK now but have family in the Perth hills, this is one of my all time favourite swimming spots.

Ah... the only state I've yet to visit (well & Tassie too) a mate of mine from WA is moving to Tas next month, so that'll be an excuse to visit, I'm attracted to those rivers they have down there and all the green space.

Great to get your positive comments as always Mandy, yeah... and I'm going to move into Pete's caravan permanently ! he doesn't know yet though ! ;) We got heaps of footage from a few trips out & about, so there'll be a few more short films from WA soon, I just have to find time to edit it all.

Not a secret really... you can find it easy enough via google earth once you check out JF Nat Park in the Perth Hills :) The rangers are none too happy about swimmers though !
