A WINTER Overlanding Adventure on Highway 395 | Snowboarding & Rock Climbing (Mammoth + Bishop)

Күн бұрынAfter spending the last month stuck inside, we've dying to get out and explore again! So we packed up the overlanding rig and hopped on Highway 395 in search of a little adventure! Our first stop was Mammoth Lakes, CA where we were greeted with an unexpected snow storm and fresh powder! Good thing we brought the snowboards... Next, we drove to Bishop to experience one of California’s most iconic rock climbing areas! Boy, is it good to be outside again! Enjoy :)

You guys should look into getting a set (5) beadlock wheels with a onboard air compressor. I always have an air compressor/tire plugs just in case.

So I decided I'm getting a 22 Frontier pro 4x and my girlfriend and I are going to end up doing overlanding as well. She loves camping and loves the idea of overlanding. Hey Robert. Check out Backcountryskimaps. $10 for a digital map of whichever area you want to ride. Of course, it's not recommended if you don't have at least a little bit of avalanche knowledge.

Glad to see you guys back out there! I have the Jackery 1000 too; same heater also! Mine only lasts 3-4 hours running that heater pulling about 150w. Do you experience the same thing? I was rather disappointed.

We didn't run it for more than 10 or so minutes at a time so I'm not sure, but that sounds about right. Unfortunately heaters tend to pull a lot of consistent power. Not sure what the solution would be for long term heat

Great video! What camera equipment do you use while vlogging? The shots are so clear. We are looking to upgrade from our Canon SL3. We also tend to use our GoPro 9 a lot.

Ok ill give you guys a big tip! Not to far from where you were there is what I think the best hike in California. Its between Bishop and Mammoth and its called Little Lakes Valley. Check it out!
