Thank you it was amazing and still a little surreal to this day. We have kept in contact and he actually only lives about 2 hours away from me so we have been able to visit quite a bit.

I can assure he is not he is my father and yes we do look very alike. He was 20 when I was born. I look like a lot of his other family members and my own son looks like his son (my brother)

@@kevin15776 Omg yes we finally got in touch with eacb other and my brother okdest brother texted him he responded to him and we were finally in contact!!!! I was 17 when we spoke, 18 now, its amazung how fast rhis happened. I asked god to let me see my father again after watching this video and boy did it work!!!!!!! ETERNALLY GREATFUL I HONESTLY THOUGHT ID BEVER SEE HIM AGAIN. To all thise out there, yes if you will it, they can come back.

@@calista910 How's your relationship we with him? My birth mother gave me up for adoption in Bogota, Colombia when I was a baby but I was able to track her down with the help of an agency. She doesn't want to know me but I found out I have a half sister and I was able to chat with her on Facebook.

My relationship with him is getting better, i dont really say much to gim but i know he cares for me cause all he does is talk about stuff to keep me healthy , he talkd a lot lol just like me and i find that we are very similar. bonemeister090909 I am just so sorry. 💔 You might try a DNA test to get started (I did mine through www.ancestry.com, just because I love studying my family history.) I believe a few million people have taken the tests, so you might really luck out and at the very least find a cousin, who might be able to lead you to your father. Do you have your birth certificate? Maybe his name is there?

I truly hope you found your father. I was a young dumb young man at 17, my son was born when just turned 18, needless to say her parents weren't happy. As things didn't work out I lost connection with them. Thru the DNA test and social media ( which I'm not good at ) he found my youngest son. Made contact with him and now with me. I am now 60 and he is 42, we are trying to rebuild our relationship. If you do find your father, give him a chance. I have carried an extreme guilt through out my life, now hoping to share the time I have left with the entire family. I went from 4 grandchildren to 10 and 2 great grandchildren. It's been an amazing journey, I know I can't make up for lost time, the future looks brighter. Goodluck take care

Trust me I was emotional. Shock can make things look different than they are. I have been through A LOT in my life and unfortunately become good at controlling my emotions. My mother was killed in a car accident when I was 8 and I was in the seat beside her and her husband was a P.O.S. I can not speak for my father but can assure you after the initial shock wore off there has been many tears and other emotions

I just happened to be sharing this link with a friend and saw your comment. I am the girl from the show that was reunited. You may not have been implying anything but I want to assure you that it is really my father. They did a DNA test and I have now met the rest of my family whom I have pictures of from the past as well.

Things now are really good now, we actually just got done having Thanksgiving dinner with him and his wife. Ironically he lives 2 hours away so we have been able to visit often. I have also spent some time with my aunt who lives close as well.
