Oh my dear jesus.my wonderfull savior..I'm so gratefull for the grace given to me,,I'm also gratefull to the north American missionaries whom went to Mexico and preached to my whole family,we all received jesus,no more idolatry, saved by the grace of god,my brothers sister now with their own families,my self too and we all in jesus,worshiping the only God, now we have one Pastor in the familiy ,thank you jesus,and thank you much to all missionaries in the world

Wonderful memories of being in church with my Mom and Dad who are now with the LORD. Great singing, powerful hymns that I miss in church today. People got dressed up because we where going somewhere important. There is a respect and a reverence that is missing today. People walking around all over the place drinking coffee, torn jeans, messed up hair. Kind of puzzled here as to who we are trying to act like today.

Beatiful song. It touches my soul and puts tears in my eyes thinking of all my elders that have gone to be with the Lord. Can't wait to see my Dad, mom and the rest of my christian relatives. May God bless all of his childrens all the world.

Fanny Crosby was such an inspiration, when the Lord got a hold of her life she transformed others lives with her hymns and writings, the Bible says “My tongue will be the pen 🖊 of the Ready Writer “ - Psalms

Lydia Irabor I forgot to mention Fanny was blind at 6 weeks old, but it only made her more determined to work for Jesus. Aside from her writings she ministered to the poor and oppressed working children. And ministered to Prisoners. She was Clinton’s clocking on to 100 💯 years old when Fanny died. Sharp to the end , at 94 years old. “And with long life, I shall show Him my Salvation”

Don't forget the truly magnificent tune from Wm. J. Kirkpatrick. Terrific congregational singing and piano acc. BTW, not much of this kind of music from this side of the pond anymore.

Colin Edwards Yes and Fanny Crosby blind at 6 weeks old , did not just talk the talk , but she walked the walk. She helped poor overworked children and Prisoners etc . Died aged 94 clocking on 100 💯 and still sharp.

It is one of my favourites too. I have a photo above my bed of Petra in Jordan 🇯🇴, and when the sun 🌞 is at its hottest they go and lie down and have a sleep in the clefts of the rock. In this photo where the guy is hiding and resting in the cleft of the rock you literally cannot see him and think he is just part of the rock . It is so significant I had it framed. It just affirms his Word, it’s in the Bible referring to Moses when Moses asked to see the Lords Glory. “I will put my hand over My face ....” Exodus

Whitewell has discarded all of these hymns.......they now have a scruffy-looking band on stage that produces meaningless contemporary music.......there is no singing by the congregation since the music is toneless and not singable. It is disgusting to hear. If you want to see it, go to the Whitewell website and pull up some recent videos. Whoever made this change has KILLED this church in my estimation.

@@lineygoblue4252 I agree. How sad! His Word to us is foremost. Then, nothing is better than the congregational song worship with the hymnal. You don't find the inspiring and genuinely God-seeking lyrics in many of the songs today. With the fast tempo of today's song worship, you can hardly grasp ..."the depths of His love". How beyond marvelous His gift to all who will receive.
