Shadow wouldn't like to know this. My man survived a fall through the atmosphere without a hitch? No amnesia? He can brag about it for the rest of his life, that's for sure. With that being said, I love how celebratory this sounds. The ending comes togheter really well, it's beautiful 😌

Man. What an ending to such an amazing game. I’m looking toward the future in a positive light. Keep on running, Sonic the Hedgehog. Let that light never fade.

While I didn't mind the original ending, I'm sure this was better for people, including me. I'm glad we were able to get a better and more memorable conclusion. I can't wait for the future of Sonic!

Honestly, I think I prefer the original ending narratively. The End got a small bit of characterisation beyond just being another eldritch abomination, we actually get to fight it directly, and honestly I think Cyber Sonic is corny, especially with the totally unironic near-vertabim "sorry master, but I must go all out" moment that led into it.

@@eggbreakerdotexe I would've liked to go to space and fight The End as well, but I think the fight we got was an improvement over Space Invaders. To each their own.

@@CSTH1I feel that both fights balance each other out, both with their strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn’t call either of them a dud in the slightest. Plus, Sonic finally got to embrace that Dragonball energy once again.
