I was a bourgogne main for a long time too. crazy how that ship used to be peak BB and it's almost mid in 2024. people are stuck in the past on it pretty hard.

I mention in video but I don't even recommend it. I personally don't enjoy it much, I just accept it is very broken. Also, the grind is truly miserable. Be prepared.

But if your sole gripe with BBs is RNG dispersion, this may scratch your brain in a nice way.

you also only have to show 20 degrees to get 90% secondary DPM out. I honestly have no clue what WG was thinking with this. Because you're right it does have pretty much have Ohio secondaries but you don't have HP or armor when you push nose in up close.

The St. Vincent is the same way….but good luck doing that consistently.

@@hagostaeldmann it happens not common but not very rare bro, especially against something like wisconsin, republique etc. I was chunked like 50k by wisconsin from over 20km. I have been dev struck by repub in the cyclone around 7km at 70-80 degree (almost flat but not 90) too. I have around 200 battles in her and top 20-30 bungo EU I think. Just sharing what I experienced

this ship IMO should have nothing changed, except change calibre to be 410mm like Izumo guns and up the pen. Make it a menace to idiot BB players out to say 22km or so. Not quite the citadel capability of Slava out to 26km+ but almost.

@@hagostaeldmann When I initially saw the high shell velocity, I thought it was going to be something like that but of course WG can't have a BB that damages other BBs because then all the BB monkeys would cry and we can't have that. If you wanted to be really funny you could UP the shell calibre to 460 as per the design. Then all the BBs would really complain

Thanks, man. I'll admit, that hilariously, my main reason I don't play Bungo is it can't push in against 2-3 ships and win or tank when you're forced to permakite and you can't go dark. Like Vermont can with fast heals or even Lauria or other ships with better plating. Which is a tragic statement to make because we have a lot of newer BBs that can do that. I also like I said feel more greasy for some reason with those cruiser devstrikes. I can't really explain why it feels less rewarding, even compared to a ship like Lauria that's overall more broken.

@@hagostaeldmann it probably feels that way because its almost guaranteed to happen to the point that it dulls the satisfaction; you *know* that cruiser is dead, RNG becomes almost a non-factor because its just that accurate, its unrivaled consistency. The only ships that hold a candle to that imo would be Wisconsin and Vermont, Wisc because its incredibly accurate itself and Vermont because of the combination of good accuracy and absurd alpha, but even with those ships theres a greater level of uncertainty, both because they have worse dispersion and sigma in comparison but also the shells are slower so you need to lead more which gives the cruiser more time to react. Theres Slava too ofc but I feel like she’d be the runner up in this case, it’s ultimately pretty close tho. Anyways, point being, because other BBs have that greater level of uncertainly it’ll feel more rewarding to get those dev-strikes in them where Bungo hands them out like participation trophies. I do get where you’re coming from with not being able to push with it tho, like yeah you’re not gonna instant blow up (like so many people seem to think) but you’re not going to sustain an engagement like that for vert long, rather short actually. Thats where Lauria and to a lesser extend Wisconsin come in for me at least being my 2 favorite BBs, the 2 just represent the things I want the most in my BBs; Im a SLUT for both fast BBs and BBs with consistent/accurate guns, being as being able to tank well is also something I really enjoy. Bungo ranks pretty high for me as my chill mellow ship where I can just click people for free without feeling pressured to play agro, something played just for the guns and nothing else.

Michelangelo is a cruiser that came out after DM and Petro so it is by definition balanced or weak.

For me it does it makes leading ships that are angled at long range a lot easier because you can bracket them between two of the angle lines to know exactly in what way to lead them and then you can reference the mini map aiming point

Pretty much agree, only reason I enjoy WIsconsin is it at least slams idiot battleship players at medium range. Which none of the newer bbs really do.
