A few ways in which I think it would be different.

Do you know the name Ignaz Semmelweis? He was a Hungarian doctor of German/Austrian descent, born in 1818, who observed, while working at a hospital at age 29, that poor women had much lower rates of childbed fever and death than wealthy ones. He asked himself whether the difference was a matter of "poor women are hardier than the more delicate wealthy ones" or whether there were differences in treatment that might result in such a disparity. He noticed that poor women could not afford doctors. Their babies were delivered by midwives, while the babies of wealthy women were delivered by physicians. So he looked at the different daily duties of midwives and doctors. The midwives, as one would expect, worked only with mothers and babies. The doctors worked with all kinds of patients (mothers in labor, people who were sick, people who were injured), and also performed post-mortems on corpses, including the corpses of women who had died of childbed fever. He surmised that perhaps an infectious agent was being transferred by the doctors themselves between sick patients and dead bodies, and the women in labor. He decided to do an experiment, and have all of the doctors at the hospital wash their hands in chlorinated lime before treating women in labor. Over the next year or so, rates of childbed death at his hospital were reduced by 90%. Of course, Semmelweis could not explain or detail the mechanism by which this precaution worked. Germs hadn't been discovered yet. Disease was, at that time, believed to originate in "nervous excitation" or an imbalance in the "four humours", and plagues were thought to be spread by a "miasma" of foul air. When Semmelweis presented his results to his superiors, they had no way to integrate them into their existing conceptualization of disease. More than this, they objected strenuously to the very notion that doctors could be the physical agents of disease transmission. They fired him, and essentially blacklisted him. They ignored the fact that rates of childbed death returned to "normal" after his methods were discarded. Eventually, after pushing his idea over years and years, he became a laughingstock in the field and such an embarrassment to his wife that she had him committed to a mental institution. He was beaten so severely there that he died, likely from sepsis, just a couple weeks after he was admitted. Of course, we know now that he was correct. We know now that countless people needlessly died because the establishment was determined to reject his ideas, even to the point of publicly denouncing him and destroying his career. And yet he never stopped trying. He pursued his idea for the remaining 18 years of his life. He faced public humiliation, career sabotage, defamation and the utter decimation of his livelihood because he knew his idea would save the lives of innumerable women and children. He died friendless and penniless, a social pariah, in a lunatic asylum to which his own unsympathetic wife condemned him, because he was so tenacious and single-minded in his pursuit of what he knew was right and what he knew would save the lives and reduce the suffering of women, in particular during the conditions in their lives (childbirth) when women are most at risk. He gave up everything for this. He was just 47 when he died, 20 years before Pasteur discovered the mechanism behind Semmelweis's discovery, and 40 years before a statue was erected in Budapest to commemorate him. It is not what men are capable of discovering and doing that makes them so vital to society. It is what they are willing to risk and sacrifice in pursuit of those ends. It is not the skills and knowledge of those linemen that make them so necessary when the power goes out. It's their willingness to brave the elements and risk their safety, even their lives, to put those skills and that knowledge to use. I often wonder what Semmelweis was thinking as he lay dying of his infected wounds in a mental institution. Was it, "One day I will be vindicated, and they will erect statues in my honor!"? Or was it, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do."?

I think a big part of what helps as well, is seeing the world for what it is, rather than the stupid notion of what the world should be. The former can lead to real meaningful change, or at least protect you from the dangers that are out there, or do things more for the wise. Whereas the latter, is more of a utopia dream, and can lead to some really dangerous shit like Communist Marxism, which has resulted in the deaths of millions.

The reason your female friendships don't last long is because generally speaking a lot of women lack a sense of loyalty, appreciation, reciprocation and honor towards those who show them love. In fact when it comes to romantic relationships, the more love a man shows the more likely she is to develop contempt for him.

I wish I didn’t have to find this out the hard way. What’s even more fucked up is that a single mother or mother in general will put it into her sons head that he has to be a sweet guy and eventually the right girl will come along. The backwards mentality of a women is frightening. All I want to do is help those I love but they’ll somehow make you out to be evil. Then hopefully at the end of the day the boy becomes a man and learns how to deal with women and grows into a king providing everything for the ones that deserve it. The best feeling is making the ones you love happy.

*Recently I happened to ask an older, wiser lady if she believed that girls are cruelest to each other, like meaner to each other and bring each other why and she agreed.What triggered me to ask that was I've been a victim of that and I was trying to figure out why someone would try to bring me down when all I do is mind my business and be the best version of myself I can be...I'm not gonna say I'm perfect. I've made my mistakes; I thought I was being constructive with some things I'd say but in a situation like that I opted for learning WHY my way of expression was harmful and worked at correcting it. It's not just women who do that, men do that too. Why? human nature. It's easier to take someone down than to aspire to perform better and surpass them. It's much clearer with kids, because they are honest about it, when they try taking someone down, or get all the attention for themselves.

Once I have been the manager of a production line for candies, with 20 women working in my shift with me. It was a life-lesson. Every day I had to solve problems such as complaints about one woman using the mirror in the changing room for too long, or a woman complained the boyfriend of another woman had dangerously overtaken her boyfriends car, another woman kept on complaining her husband wanted sex every day before work, ... whatever. A while later, as I got a male packer and male machine operator in the team, and 95 % of this stopped.

Xamry F I recently read a descriptive piece on the daily lives of ancient Greek customs and social norms. In the city state of Sparta there was an interesting custom about male versus female roles within that society regarding the duties seen as essential to the survival of the state. Where it became really interesting was burial rights for the citizen and how a citizen was only awarded a gravestone in two circumstances. A man who died in combat during war and a woman who died in childbirth, as both events were seen as bloody, painful self sacrifices to ensure the survival of their society. Now obviously that is a very extreme example but I think what it does is highlight that men and women are different, but a state of mutual respect and essential dependency on each other is paramount to the function of a society.

My life.... I worshiped and treated them like queens and they all mistook that for weakness, lost their attraction to me, treated me like dirt and I moved on. I don't like being a jerk and I don't like being treated like garbage so at 40 years old I severed all ties with that gender and never looked back. No, I didn't turn gay. I will always be attracted to women but the last ten years have been the most stress free, outgoing, adventurous and best years of my life. I have lengthened my life span. As a heavy diesel truck mechanic, allow me to say "you're welcome". I'm a reluctant MGTOW. I would have liked to have a family but it's too dangerous. So I saved my money and I'm about to retire (12 years early).
@Xamry6 жыл бұрын
.... I understand.I hope that not having a family doesn't leave you feeling empty, unfulfilled, or... you know :SFor me personally I'd have probably given in.But then again I do tend to have a natural inclination for "emotional decisions".I'm glad you get to retire! I don't have a family but although I'm just starting in the workforce I don't feel inspired so I wish I could retire myself! xDIt's probably a cold, selfish thing for me to say given that I don't contribute much to my community, but.. I wish I could do what I love and not be judged by "the significance" of what I do. See what I mean?At any rate, thanks for sharing your thoughts!I like reading what drives everybody to make their decisions.
@Vention1MGTOW6 жыл бұрын
Xamry F There is no perfect life. I'm certainly happy enough. I was unfulfilled as a young man. When men are young that's when the loneliness really beats us down. When we're over 40 it all goes away. I think it's nature's way of motivating a man to do what's best for his family. When men are young were driven to start a family but when we're older we focus on caring for the family we already have. For women it seems to be the reverse. When young they have an over abundance of male attention but when they get older that's when their chance to be lonely rolls around.
@Ididntwantthishandle6 жыл бұрын
Vention1MGTOW idk I've gotten attention but I never took them seriously I mostly been under the impression the just want to sleep with me then lose me like now, so to keep from getting used I just avoid men in any romantic form. I did have a male friend who would ask me out from time to time (I would decline) over a period of like 3 years I developed feelings for him to the point that I fell in love and agreed to go on a date. At first it was amazing but he realized that I was interested in moving in the direction of marriage (later if everything worked out) couple that with him stating that I would be his wife in a couple of years if we dated( some months before I finally agreed to date) and I thought I had finally found what I was waiting for but he told me he wasn't in a position to marry. Now, we don't even talk and it hurts so I'm just alone again. And I really wanted to be with him and be apart of his life and family. It's pretty pathetic but I still cry over him and like now, babysitting my friends children, I would just honestly love to have a family of my own.

All you needed to do was watch this video in which 12 men and 12 women were put on an island with nothing but their clothes and had to survive. 20 minutes in you knew the women were screwed. Men divided who did what and got to it. Priorities were food, water, and shelter. The women on the other hand- began to give out rules, ordinances, and then as a group aimed to tackle the necessities together one at a time. You then see a man eat a bug - nasty looking thing but as he put it "These are a good source of protein" meanwhile.. one lady twisted her ankle and was crying while another ran from potential food because "it was scary looking".

The girls on the other hand spent most of the time arguing and hadn't even put any paint on the page by the time the boys had finished.

doe feminism wont admit men are necesary but real womans do we know without mens womans cant even replace a wheel of their car but lets not fall in this shiet of who is better than who because a happy men would totally love working 14-15 hours a day for their family while his wife is suporting managing money to spend the less posible taking care of everything at home setting up all once your done so u can eat talk a bit of how the your day was joking with your kids i dont want a fucking future with robots telling me how was your day sir! real womans are still there but im seeing more and more mens less interesed each day in build good relationships with womans less interaction between them for example at uni i see 12 - 13 guys talking each other like bros and 2 steps to the side 2-3 girls from the same class talking alone on their own like if they dont exist and is horrible to see this man if we mens become passive this will turn into a hell of society.

Your husband works like a slave and he doesn't even have rights to complain, he can't have some rest, he can't see his children grow up, share moments with them, and the moment he say a word or complain you will no longer love (which means 'respect' for you, that's your notion of 'love') him ... etc. This is just sad.

Maizy - I am a woman and was a USAF Flight Engineer on the C-141 cargo jet. A flight engineer is basically an aircraft mechanic responsible for the mechanical condition of the aircraft that flies with the plane and has both pre-flight and in-flight duties - we inspect the fuel system, electrical system, hydraulic system, air conditioning/pressurization system and landing gear and doors in preparation for flight and monitor and maintain them in flight. My squadron had 2 or 3 female pilots, 2-3 female flight engineers and 5 or 6 female loadmasters . I would estimate about 5-10% of the aircrew were female in my squadron which was a transport squadron, I would guess there are even fewer female aircrew in tactical or strategic squadrons. Not many to be sure, but we are out there. And imo a cockpit is a cockpit and should be called.... a cockpit!

I am now on the in-house fire dept at a refinery and had to inspect a line with 20,000 ppm H2S blowing at my air mask (300 ppm is instantly lethal). I went to work that day knowing that I was going to do this. The medics took my blood pressure before I went up and I had to lie down for a few minutes to get my pressure under 140. Believe me I would love to be home like everyone else, but how do you think things work? If I don’t go to work that’s less food on my children’s table. I always reply to her, “are you going to feed them?” I never get an answer to that question, but a scold of disgust. I would like to believe not all women think like this, but I’m logical and know better. Situations like this in couples fights are over most relationship disputes. Don’t ask me how my day was. Just be glad I was able to come home.

And we men appreciate women every bit as much. This isn't about elevating one gender over the other. It's about appreciating the uniqueness that makes us who we are because we are both immensely important to the other, and as a man I wouldn't want to be without women. We all need each other and we are all that much better off because of the synergy that exists between us. When you wash away feminism and anything else that inhibits men & women's ability to work together, we NEED each other.

scott sanger The corrupt Catholic Church has shown men don’t always police themselves very well either. Just saying..... Feminism has gone insane. I think it had good intentions in the 60s/70s, but now it’s not even equality...they want superiority. Men are the enemy. And men and women are not really equal in many areas, and the feminist cannot accept that. I’m praying the pendulum swings back to a more normal synergy too.

I love women like you. I value alot of what you said. Men and women are simply different. I dont even like the word "equal" when it comes to sex. Without the unity and eternal bond of a male and a female, the human race would not exist today. Males and females are not equal, because we are simply yin and yang. Trying to make ppl accept that males and females are the same, destroys the human nature between sexes and makes it hard for men and women to be their true selves.

We men do the dangerous and risky things we do out of love. Usually. There is frequently a strong stupidity factor as well. The two are hard to tell apart at times. By and large we do the hard, gruelling, dangerous work because someone has to. And since it must be done we would prefer to do it so that our women don't have to. We want them to be safe, comfortable, and happy. To care for and protect those we love is no sacrifice. We WANT to do it. So we do it. Not always well, yet we do it all the same. And we really don't ask for much in return. A man wants a woman to love him as only a woman can love a man. We want women to recognize, and appreciate the hardships that we endure willingly so that they don't have to. And we want them to respect us for the risks we take so that they can be safe, comfortable, and happy. Love. Gratitude. Respect. That's all we really need or want to make us happy. And it goes both ways. Men should show women gratitude for the things they do, that they are much better suited for than we are. Respect them for their hard work and the sacrifices they make. Love them as only a man can love a woman. Men and women are NOT equal. Equality and inequality are only relevant when comparing absolute values. Is an apple equal to an orange? The one cannot be compared to the other because they are so different. Apply the same rationale to men and women. Both are good in their own way according to their nature. Not equal. Not unequal. One is not inherently superior to the other. They are different. The moral here is that I think everyone, men AND women would be much better off if we worked towards common goals TOGETHER. Earn one another's love, gratitude, and respect. Try to imagine living in that world.

_"We men do the dangerous and risky things we do out of love. Usually. There is frequently a strong stupidity factor as well. The two are hard to tell apart at times."_ Yes. This supports the fact that IQ distribution in men is overrepresented both at the low end and at the high end; whereas in women it congregates around the middle (fewer stupid women and fewer genius women relative to men). Your comment helps explain _why_ nature prefers either stupid or brilliant men - sometimes you have to be stupid to take a risk that may just improve yourself or your community. And, of course, brilliance aid in building the future and crafting new technologies (often for the _benefit_ of women). Women, on the other hand, benefit from minimization of risk-taking for the benefit, largely, of their children.

I work in the fibre industry which involves climbing power pools, spending hours in the dirt, under buildings in tight spaces where you can barely move, working in holes and in pits, sometimes in the rain these holes and pits have water in them, sometimes it's in the middle of winter. We climb on buildings, work on rooftops, haul equipment at heights, and too much other stuff to list. Anyway, we virtually never get women applying for this sort of work. We had one girl apply, that I know of, she wasn't hired. Discussed this with work mates; not sure of management's reason but I think just too much danger to expose to a girl. Guys do rarely fall off ladders and, for some, it ends their careers but you won't hear about this in the media. Let's say a pregnant woman falls 24 feet from a ladder, or cooks herself up a pole - I guarantee that would be a media extravaganza. Ladder weights vary from 20 to 40 kilos; you may not even handle a ladder one day but then the next day you may have to throw that ladder up five poles, carry that ladder 100 metres, between each pole, through paddocks, over fences, around deer fences, over gates, through mud, uneven terrain, through bush (colloquiallism for type forest growth common to New Zealand), and, on top of that, carry all the gear necessary to climb all those poles, so you don't have to walk back and get the stuff: harnesses, anchor systems, hardware. Now, a lot of the guys think this is fun. There are a few women who could hack this sort of pace but I don't think the majority of women would have fun doing it. Yeah boy. Just saying - biology and genetic disposition still influences thought.

To be honest, this video showed me the value of appreciation. Thank you lady! This is also where I would like to thank women who support by running the family. I say this because you sounded like it was too easy when you said, "All I see is women cooking and cleaning while men hunt". This is where I beg to differ when it comes to attitude. I believe this cooking and cleaning is equal to the hunting job. We,men(not all),failed to recognize and appreciate women when they toil to support the structure of our families from collapsing. We supplied but they constructed and maintained the integrity. I guess they deserve what we expect from them...Appreciation!!
@Xamry6 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you perceived it in that manner. 2017 was the year I actually became pretty aware of the wonders of appreciation.Exactly; what I mean by what the female does is that we perform the intensity that we are designed to withstand while men do their thing as well. I feel like modern feminism interprets that as "women are weaker and we are ready to prove that isn't the case" when guys don't even complain about doing that stuff. I overheard a conversation where a woman was talking to someone else about how they would love for Valentine's Day to not have to cook, clean, look after kids, etc. because that's hard work. I mentally frowned because I was thinking to myself "What would you do with your day? What is your labour? Spending money?" There has to be a balance and discipline somewhere. And again, my message here is not to throw women under the bus like I often get accused of but to celebrate men for what they do. I don't hear that being done often and women DO get celebrated a lot for what they do. At least in my immediate circle, and even in my social media tailoring.
@bookguitarguy6 жыл бұрын
That's a great comment, well said. It's a two-way street, now it's time for women to step up and let men know they appreciate us, and don't take us for granted, because men need to hear that, and if it doesn't happen soon on a large scale this society (in the US) and our families are going to collapse entirely. Again great comment... gratitude, teamwork, and mutual appreciation and respect between men and women is really important. We need to stop competing with one another also, because that interferes with gratitude and creates a hostile, antagonistic environment. What man wants to be with a woman who's obsessed with proving she can be like a man??? Not ME, that's for sure!!!! And the same goes for men trying to act like women... bc most women don't really want that (except the abusive ones who hate men and want to control them and rule over them--which is not healthy for a man, or society as a whole IMO). Appreciate what you have or you will lose it, and a lot of women don't believe that (bc they think their vaginas give them infinite control over men), but there's a limit to it. When men no longer respect you or trust you, bc of your own hateful, selfish, ungrateful, destructive, abusive behavior towards men (and your own promiscuity, which gets old after a while and is not really respected by men), they go their own way, and that's what's happening increasingly in the MGTOW movement (refusing to marry, etc, because it's not worth it for a lot of men at this point, since the risks outweigh the benefits). Thanks for considering, and the great insight!!

What amazes me aswell is that this woman is from a minority background, yet she still upholds men (most likely white men) and appreciates all their works for bettering the living condition of women. Usually when women from other backgrounds come to a country built by a white man: they usually start to adapt the 3rd wave feminism and see the white man as her biggest oppressor and enemy even though the white man has welcomed her to a amazing Western country to enjoy great living standard and freedom, even when they own nothing to anyone, especially these foregeiners, actually quite the opposite.

@roguegen55366 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the response I didn't expect that. I wondered, but I didn't think it would be just you lambasting men, but I also just get tired of both sides of the rhetoric. The validity of men in society isn't something that should have to be argued for, and its a sad state of the world we live in that we do have to argue for the validity of men.
@Xamry6 жыл бұрын
Oh 😲 I'm glad you say that! I tend to assume that sometimes because I know that the Internet can be a war zone and I forget that mmmooost people, realistically, still think critically and use their logic more, you know? At the end of the day my response always is it took a man and a woman for me to be here. It takes a man and a woman for me to continue to live. And it'll take a man and a woman for my kids to come. 🤷🏽♀️ So before the argument of societal stuff comes about it's invalidated by the sole act of existence. That's how both are valid and we must not forget. Women can call men useless all they want but no matter what they wouldn't be here without one and as they breathe male DNA flows through them. Like always, just my opinion 🙂

And while I am careful of some women of today, just because of the climate and things that have happened personally to me in the past, i know when i do get married some day... I will appreciate what my wife does, there is no doubt women are important, they play their part and they do it well. Thank you for this video, no one is asking anything but for men to be men and for women to be women and for them to think of their own accord like you have demonstrated in this video, these crazy minorities (and im black myself) who play victim and shout the loudest do no represent the whole, they are but a small group who are being manipulated by post modern neo-marxist. I think Jordan Peterson said it best, young men today are just not being told, they can grow the hell up and be responsible. And i think the same goes for young women too, everyone is telling them to be independent, BUT at the same time no one is telling them, you CAN be dependent too and that's okay. That, being dependent doesn't equate to uselessness, would i want my wife to be depended on me? Yes and no, i would want her to be able to take care of the kids and certain things in the instance i am not around (and i don't mean, she must be a stay at home mom, her working or not working would be up to her).... And AT THE SAME TIME, be reliant on me AS I WOULD RELY ON HER as well, people seem to forget relationships are a two way street...to think i can have kids (when/if i have kids) and not be dependent on my wife (when/if i get married) would be ludicrous, that should be the standard..so idk where where all this talk of where woman want to be independent because men are independent is rubbish, men need women as much as women need men...its nothing new, but common sense just isn't common anymore, or its not being taught anymore

You are right. Many women don't really appreciate men now on days, but they always need something from men. Let's give an example. A woman has a broken car, I want to see that feminist that is going to say I will not take my car to fix at a place where men fix cars, I'm going to a female mechanic. I would like to see that happening. Or I'm going to only buy cell phone that is made by women only, I'm not going to use money cuz it is made by men. Lol. And may sound stupid, but it is not. Women contribute to many important things, but not necessarily the most important or most needed by humans. Anyway we are born to live together and help each other, not putting down females or men. We are just different, and women are very important too. Men need women too.
@Xamry6 жыл бұрын
Right. I've never seen a single female mechanic anywhere I go. I've seen females around mechanics but not really being hands-on fixing a vehicle. Another thing that gets me is how all this feminism is impacting the entertainment industry, too. Although that industry is not important and it's a waste of time (and money) I hate how they're making it obvious that more females are being cast when their role is primarily delivered by guys. I'm not hating, I don't have anything against a new era for characters and heroes but damn if you wanna make that so, create your OWN heroes and don't tamper with the currently existing ones. I also do not have the mindset (nor time) to be researching whether what I consume was made by a male or female. I look at the usefulness aspect of it. If men have the edge when it comes to engineering then they just do; let's admire and support them and not actively detest them or try to compete against them to prove a point. I'd see it as inspiring but not as I gotta pick a fight with the male population, you know? Athletics also irritate me. All of a sudden they want to make women compete against men. I'm not saying it's impossible to beat a man but the differences exist because by nature men have advantages and that's all right. I don't feel inferior nor mad about that. 🤷🏽♀️ Just as you stated, we all complete one another, especially when we focus on being harmonious about the fact that we are different but we understand those differences is what helps our species progress. Thanks for commenting. ^^
@Seele2015au6 жыл бұрын
+Xamry F I largely agree with what angel gonzalez said, but we might have to take a few more steps further back. It's not about getting women to fix a broken car, but about the existence of cars: they had to be invented and built, and in addition, the whole ecosystem to make the car the way it is, as a viable way of transportation. Likewise, it's not just about getting a phone made by women, but about the necessity of the inventions of the various enabling technologies that make the phone exists. Likewise, that also applies to practically every aspect of the modern world as we know it. All of these, with very very few exceptions, were done by men. There are women who think they can do away with men now, because they seem to think the modern world and everything that exists within it just happened spontaneously somehow, without any need for men to build it brick by brick, and they're just as unaware of the countless men beavering away out of their sights to keep it working.
@Xamry6 жыл бұрын
Aha! Excellent point! You expressed the most vital thing and that is that this is by no means the work of spontaneity. This hasn't always been around as we know and people really have that misconception. I guess it's easy to have that misconception when you're just BORN into the world with all these advancements as opposed to starting it off. I remember making a vid about something like this. It was my thoughts on the folks who pass away but they don't get to witness some stuff as a result. The point to that video was me saying how I don't think this one life you're living is your only shot in life. There must be a reincarnation. ANYWAY. BACK ON TRACK! The maintenance of a system is just as challenging (sometimes even more) than starting from scratch. And if you think about it, these advancements in society happened pretty FAST. Like in the past two centuries I'd say it was kind of a boom. I wonder how the people who worked and didn't see stuff's completion, like building the roadways, would feel about that stuff. Would it look how they imagined it? Work how they imagined it? Some people existed in a time when planes didn't exist. They happened to miss out due to the "unfortunate" timing of their birth. 🤷🏽♀️ At the end of the day, as a woman, right now at this very second, suffering the monthly consequence's symptoms 😅, there's no way we could have accomplished all that, let alone at the RATE that we did in our timeline. We are just not designed with the mindset for that nor the physicality. I'm done. 🙅🏽 Great post. 👍🏽

Xamry F, some years ago at another board, I posed a hypothetical scenario: if women want to be totally segregated from men, and we discover another planet, exactly like Earth, but totally uninhibited. Women are given the choice of moving there, or staying here and send all men there. What would be their choice? If they say men are the scourge of the world and cannot do anything, they could very well go and start afresh and mess up big time. But if men go instead, men would surely build up a society soon enough. Either way, women would soon find out that what they take for granted don't just happen.

Thanks so much for your comment, I'm humbled by it. 😊😊 If men went on strike for a year I think I could survive but certainly not as comfortable. Don't get me started on the fatalities that we'd see if we tried to keep stuff running like they do (lineman work, for example). And omg, WHO would supply petroleum!? I CANNOT LIVE without my car at this point!! Yeah. No. Please. Don't summon that scenario! And as much of a diva as I am when it comes to my cleanliness, not being able to perform my ritual from the comfort of my home... Yeah. Nope. I'm through. This is terrifying! I'm glad that you considered my point of view unbiased. Sometimes I may be biased and don't realise it but if I suspect that I will be I like to give a warning of my potential slip-up. Thanks again!

Xamry F I see men and women having their own attributes that are useful to society and so I don't agree with 3rd wave feminism saying men and women are equal. I keep hearing "women can do anything men can do". But I know this to not be true because I cannot do everything a man can do and I am a man. Equally, I cannot do everything that women can do. 6 years ago female nurses saved my life in hospital due to their fantastic talents as carers. I don't think I could have done what they did. On the other hand how many women could go out in high rough seas and catch fish? I know I am not tough enough to be a fisherman. Anyway thanks for getting me thinking.......Steve FC
@Xamry6 жыл бұрын
My dearest, for that same reason I cannot agree with this current wave of feminism like that. I think that it is hurting us as a species because unfortunately some folks are interpreting as one side of the species (males) are parasitic and one must rise against them... Wow, thanks for sharing your hospital story. I'd have never guessed that about you. I enjoy reading that you admit your limitations despite being a man yourself. Men have "subcategories" of what you're built for! Some guys got the genetics to be out in the cold. Others have naturally strong legs that don't need to be worked out. And you see, if you pay attention to athletes, it's crazy that depending on how you train, your body "takes the shape" for that sport. I struggle to swim back to shore on a relatively calm day at the beach. Oh heck nah I can't make it in rough seas dealing with hundred-pound fish! I'm done. I appreciate you. You get me thinking as well! 😊

I appreciate most things men do, including trying to find ways to fix your problems (even though it’s annoying as you are growing up and trying to learn to handle things on your own). The world would not function without them and it would be a miserable place I would have no interest in living in. I worked as a dispatcher for 15 years and know the danger firemen - line crews face on a regular basis as the spoiled masses dial 911 every 5 min because the smoke from other people’s homes burning down is annoying or their power has been out for 30 min. People are so out of touch that they now think this is an emergency as opposed to an inconvenience. They don’t even know that you’re supposed to report outages to your utility provider. Fathers call and scream at because their adult daughters, sitting safely in the apartment daddy pays for, are scared of the dark. Meanwhile these men are often out in the middle of dangerous storms trying to clear a path to the lines and transformers through downed trees as more are falling all around them. God forbid if their supervisors declare it too risky and pull them until the storm calms down. The pampered puddings sitting in their safe houses will have a full blown nervous breakdowns. Helicopter parenting, a rise in narcissism and a rise in polarization/division plays a large role in this mentality as well. People are more coddled and helpless than ever but they never stop to think of what or who is behind the modern conveniences they enjoy. My job was in no way easy. I played a pseudo Mom to all, trying to find out all I could about a situation and pass it on to keep them from getting killed, but I was more than happy to be inside and not dealing with danger most of these men faced on a regular basis. It’s not as if these are the only important jobs. Not even close, but they are prime examples. I live in the Appalachian mountains and there are several women who hunt. Anyone with an interest was taught and daughters were typical welcome if interested. We were all once taught gun safety and how to shoot starting at 4 years old. You never know when you might need to do it to survive. That said, it’s always primarily been a mans job. Women had a lot to do. There was no power grid running through the mountains until the mid 1960s so there was always a large list of things that had to be done and plenty of work to divide between family members, including the kids. The coddled masses need to stop speaking on behalf of others. They are largely clueless.

I read the comment entirely.Thanks for posting it.You reminded me that I've always wanted to know what it is like to be handling 911 calls. It's been a massive curiosity for me. I have been putting off watching, maybe documentaries or something about it because I wanted to hear the story directly from someone.I'm so glad you mentioned people being out of touch with what's an emergency and what's an inconvenience.I say this incessantly: people are really spoiled....I really don't have anything substantial to add except give you an acknowledgement!
@pollysshore25396 жыл бұрын
Xamry F You are welcome. Thanks for making the video. More women need to say it. Being a dispatcher is a bit of a trip. I loved it. I’m not sure what made me apply for the job but I had a feeling I would be good at it and thought about applying a few times before I actually did it. You feel like you’re absolutely insane at first and like you have made the worst decision in your life. All senior dispatchers will tell you that if you don’t feel this, an if you are not scared to death, something is wrong. It takes about a year for every aspect of the job to come together and click. You get proficient in a few months but there is so much to learn and it does take awhile for it become second nature. You also have a bit of an internal struggle. You have to realize that you cannot get too emotionally involved in every call for the benefit and survival of the next person calling in that needs help, and your own sanity. It’s hard to get past this at first and you have to decide if you want to make the trade off and slightly numb yourself to some degree in order to remain clam, rational and help. The job helped me grow up in several ways. That said there will always be calls that get to you and just when you think you’ve heard it all, you will hear something brand new. For every heart breaking call there is one with a positive and wonderful outcome. The hours and stress are probably the worst parts of the job. It comes with eventual burn out. People are insanely spoiled! I didn’t realize how much until I started that job. It started getting out of hand in 2007 and just got worse. I’ve had call from people wanting the number to Pizza Hut, and screaming mad calls from people staying in vacation cabins that want cops to come pick up the trash in their yard that a wild animal got into. They were dumb enough to leave it out and should clean it up but security in their gated Florida communities cleans up trash for them 🙄 Cell phones seemed to make matters much worse too because people feel like they have to report everything they see and don’t like, even though it’s not even remotely illegal or suspicious.

Xamry F I was getting very fed up with the hysteria over perfectly healthy and happy children being in constant danger, too. Read the Free Range Kids blog some time, it’s now called Let Grow. It’s filled with stories of parents being arrested and having their kids removed because they let them play in their own yard without incident or let them play in a nearby park that offers breakfast, lunch and has monitors while they went to work. This was all perfectly normal when I was child and crime rates are actually lower now but people are irrationally terrified that someone will kidnap their child or that will die if they sit in the locked and running car on a moderate (cool) day and read while you quickly run into the store. I’ve had people give me vehicle descriptions, tag numbers and demand that mothers be stopped, arrested and have their child removed because they parked in front of one of the postal drop boxes on the street, got out of the car, locked it, took 4 steps to the box, dropped a package in, turned around and got back in the car and left...while their baby slept in the back. People think the mantra of hysteria, “never leave your child alone, not even for a second” is law. They expected the mother to wake up her sleeping infant, get it out of the car seat and carry it to the postal drop box to avoid the very rare chance of a kidnapping. Something that has, knock on wood, never happened in my area. There are 100-105 stereotypical stranger abductions in the U.S a year, out of people of all ages and a population of 320 million, 78 million aged 18 & under. The majority are teens with bad home lives who are working the streets. A child has a greater chance of being hit by lightning in the bathtub than of being abducted. I’ve had women demand that a mother be arrested and have her child removed because she left her sleeping baby in the car, parked in the shade, with all the windows rolled down, as she hopped into her brothers truck parked directly beside it and talked to him for under 10 minutes. The woman called 911 3 more times after the officer came and told her the baby was fine. Do we now think babies sitting under a shade tree drop dead in 5 minutes? Do they drop dead when the car breaks down on a summer day and you roll down all the windows while waiting for help? The sad fact is most children left in cars for hours upon hours on hot days are intentionally murdered by their parent. They are not in the car, parked in the shade, with the windows rolled down as Mom is 2 feet away... watching. I’ve had a woman call in a 6 year old sleeping in a locked car in the grocery store parking lot, on a 48 degree rainy day. She stood by the car window, beating on it, woke the kid up and scared him half to death. He started crying and she was blaming the evil parent who left a terrified child all alone in the car while he ran in for milk and bread. For all she knows the kid could have been sick and needed to sleep. People called in kids playing in their yard, walking to the corner store by their house in a group... they were insane about it. People can be highly irrational and cruel. The officers who arrest parents for non crimes are often hysterical parents themselves so it’s luck of the draw. (That’s why you should send a young childless officer who can easily identify the crazy if possible)

I have to say, assuming you are in the USA (defenitely fits the description of what i know of it), that not all countries are like that regarding dangerous work. I'm from the Netherlands and it storms regularly here and emergency services aren't going to do jack shit to resolve inconvenience like a temporary disruption of electrical power if they know it's too risky. I have to add that because of population density and infrastructure, it's probably also alot safer here than in most of the USA, but still, the attitude is different.

everything? LAUGHABLE! LAUGHABLE!! Everything is handed to us? LAUGHABLE!! LAUGHABLE! 80% of college guys think they automatically get the job! Women don't get credit! “Every woman worth her salt knows that we have to work twice as hard as a man to be thought of as half as good.” March 8th is International Women's Day and it has been celebrated for over a hundred years. Each year all over the world, people get together for conferences, rallies, theatrical performances, craft markets - activities that honor women's achievements and progress. But did you know that close to 70% of the world's poverty-stricken are women? Did you know that between 100 and 140 million girls have experienced genital mutilation? How about that one in five women will be a victim of rape in her lifetime? With numbers like these, it's clear that women have not yet attained full equality in our male-driven world.

EVERYTHING YOU SAID IS FULL OF REASON AND IT SHOWS THAT YOU ARE STILL SANE AND MENTALLY HEALTHY - IN CONTRARY TO ALL THESE FEMINISTS WHO ARE ALL FUNCTIONING PATHOLOGICALLY (THAT IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER MEET A SATISFIED AND HAPPY FEMINIST) !!

Wonderful vid my friend. As a heterosexual 43 year old man. I cannot imagen my life without women. I love women. I know i can live without them, but truly love them and would love to bond with one. I've never married and have no kids. I love my mom, my sister and my niece. I fight at my job. I fight for my mom. I fight for my sister. I exercise and fight for my life. But no woman has ever loved me. It's very frustrating. but in this San Francisco - Oakland bay area no one wants to be friend each other. .
