@@EfeCan96 CWDT cannot trigger reservation spells, these auras counts as reservation first second or so. About blasphemy - it works. I don't think wiki lies.

here is an idea i think you ganna enjoy, Soulthirst build using these boots seems extremely strong, due to using self temp chains and only 1 flask with a Soulthirst build your flask management is now replaces with aura management and your buffs will last almost the entire map long anyway so it's practically free auras, you most of the time dont need mana on the build as most people use soultaker due to gaining extream attack speed and cant sustain the mana cost anyway. give it a think i know big ducks got the big brain ideas to make this the next big thing.

This is insane, because for a little bit of annoyance (having to put the auras on constantly) you can drop essence worm and gain 2-3 extra auras! And it gives a free ring which is a ton of mana/life and res (or even a curse on hit) that essence worm lacks.

That was what I ended up doing. I dropped the essence worm and the boots still give Resists and MS so I gained similar stats in that regard.

It's absolutely wild with selfcast Ball Lightning. ~82m sirus DPS with a non-crit build, can probably break 200m with a crit build, and hits 86% max fire resist if you can get three increased Aura Effect nodes+Sovereignty (off Brutal Restraint). With sources of phys taken as fire, it gets even dumber.

Why not Toxic Rain (FlaskFinder for mana sustain) = Malevolence, Haste, Grace? BV might be another contender since you also use Duration. SRS maybe? Burning Arrow or other ignite builds as a way to add Anger into the mix?

I literally just found these boots & saw they were expensive on the trade board (i play on console) but couldn’t understand why... thanks for explaining! I’m a new player and using your Blade Vortex Assassin build (started with the BF/BB Inquisitor not noticing the “not for beginners” disclaimer... lol) what auras would you recommend if I were to try and use these boots? I was putsing about with this in PoB a while ago, didn't know about the blessing-ed auras counting as permanent. So I learned, but it doesn't change much. But another fun interaction, mortal conviction. Those aura's don't reserve. As long as you don't mind running blood magic so you can get MC from the tree, auras become ezpz. Synergizes well with the new life cost skills, reap and exsanguinate.

Also RF builds. Get good purity of fire, vitality, malevolence builds, and not give a hoot about mana.

You can also use a skin of the lords that gives you the mortal conviction keystone, but then you don't need to path to it and you avoid being required to use blood magic.

Just want to throw this out since I played with these on league start on my exsanguinate scion. Keeping the auras up ESPECIALLY in ultimatums was a huge pain in the ass, and took a lot of fun out of playing the build. Even using a "popsicle stick" to turn the auras on, having to stop to cast the auras every 15-20 seconds was absolutely NOT worth the DPS I gained from it. That being said if you're someone who likes pressing buttons more than I do, it might be really solid. I would highly recommend running 4 auras over 3+inc duration. If your skill can use Malevolence then popping it first will give all the others inc duration as well. Juiced up haste feels really good for mapping, and if your skill can run a non-aura reservation (heralds/banners), you can run those along with the 4 auras for some extra juice (I personally just ran a mid level vitality for the remainder of my mana since my skill cost life).

blade vortex indigon setup with that sounds pretty strong but not sure if the 50% auras would break the indigon chain as you temporary don't have enough mana to cast a spell

Has anyone tested the interaction between blood magic and mortal conviction with this item? If the aura is a permanent for the first second and the changes to a blessing, then with mortal conviction it wouldn't reserve any life when you cast it because you'd have blood magic that would convert it into health reservation.

I made a Hierophant Storm Burst totem before with that and Indigon, when the Blessing support requires you to "spend the mana" to be counted for Indigon's effect. Storm Burst's DPS can scale using skill duration. Storm burst's mana cost is also very small and Hierophant halves your mana costs so Indigon won't be much of a problem for it. Skill duration benefits Frost Shield and Sigil of Power, too. Kills bosses quite well and can endure a lot of burst damage because of MoM and the free ES.

i messed around with it on my spark archmage and came to realize that theres simply not enough auras that we can really use to make it worth it. the boot slot is to strong to give up just to fit in 30 or 40% more dmg. if you convert to cold it may be worth it as you could also run hatred but still not worth imo. i tried purities to get 90 res but the front line small cluster jewel gives me 85% anyway when arcane cloak is up. in a less min/maxed build i can see this being useful but not endgame unless im not thinking of something. you can look up my build on poe ninja under spark dps, the only one not aurastacking.

You can code it ahk like flasks just make it on timer. You can even put all of those auras on second hot bar.

Well with those you can run zealotry for crit + cons ground, grace (since you're raider, i assume eva/dodge), and maybe something else, or inc duration, like BD shows in the wideo

Might be a bit finicky but you could use this to make a MoM summoner with 2 auras on generosity (which might help with the survivability of some summoners) or possibly a trapper that uses one kind of trap (otherwise too many buttons haha) and that frees up tons of mana for defense while retaining the damage.... side note, a blink/mirror arrow summoner stacks a ton of duration so could use this really well!

Trying to make an autohotkey that keeps turning on 4 auras with a timer. Actually managed that but stuck in a situation when in a moment of turning on i have 0 mana for a moment (because of autoattack spam). That prevent aura from turning on and made a script skip one aura. Any thoughts would be helpfull. btw I'm using toxic rain

I havent really played since Delirium. Did a bit of harvest but was very unlucky on drops all the way through basically. I just couldnt get currency going. However if SB still works that build was extremely fun in Delirium and you make me wanna return xD thats a cool aspect about the game. Tons of interactions to discover

When I saw the patch notes I thought of this unique since since always seemed just not quite meta, but so close to having potential. Glad someone looked into it further. Cool stuff My initial thoughts are going aura stacker (obvious) but without needing all the crazy reservation stuff. Or just get 4 more auras on a regular stacker. First among equals gives 20% duration plus effect per node. I'm assuming due to the reservation change it wouldn't count as mana spent for indigon? - Just checked, doesn't count, but still could be cool with an indigon build as a way to actually use auras with the item

Using this, was able to almost to go from 4.9 Mil to 8.6 Mil on a build with previously 4 Offensive reserves skills. Now I have 8 reserves. 2 of them defensive. The hassle is definitely not worth it, but the bump is significant for some builds and might be worth it until you can use a more expensive setup.

the mechanic is good on Toxic rain build, it's 29-30 seconds without increased duration support, with grace 21 my evasion jumped from 5800 to 16100, also haste for more attack/movement speed and clarity to drop the -non channel skill mana on rings maybe, the only issue is finding 4 buttons XD

Elemental Blade Vortex with MoM, arcane cloak, Hatred, Zealotry, Anger and Wrath, in my head it already has insane survivability and dps, gtg PoB'ing a bit I wonder if that also works with generosity, imagine giving your minions 2-3 normal auras, and then 4 omegabuffs with that

Storm burst gets a more damage multiplier for each. 0.4 seconds of remaining duration. From the channel "interesting interactions" that more multiplier effects decay support, and is one of the only ways to scale decay

Yup tried theorycrafting that one preleague with necromancer’s buffed skill effect duration and a stacked malevolance aura (and necros 3% increased cast speed for auras which gets added to every single individual aura and benefits from supreme ego) and also smite gives it further insane flat damage and is also an aura. Storm burst is a great option didnt think about decay

Tried this build leagues ago when skill effect duration on clusters was nice(decay storm burst), since then they have nerfed them so many times (even gutted the skill effect duration alternate quality effect on malevolence lol), I'm really discouraged to try scale duration again until i see duration become more available. Supreme ego malevolence sounds tasty though, you miss the increased duration mod that you can have in the boots slot though so it sounds meh still

Nope triggers don't work for skills that reserve mana (even if only for 0.2 seconds) but it was mentioned in the video as well

Might be pretty sweet for necro minions builds. Mistress of Sacrifice also gives you extra skill effect duration. Bummer is that it won't affect your minions, right? But might be worth it for the extra resists from something like Purity of Fire or the extra energy shield from Discipline. If there's no cooldown on this, it's basically press a button and recharge like 800 ES which ain't bad.

March of the legion has been my sleeper item for soooo many leagues. Guess this is the time to spill the beans. Its not new, people have just been slacking on it. Link with cast on melee kill during clearing if using it with melee. Change to inc duration for single target bosses. Supreme ego, essence worm. I have used this for a dual call of the brotherhood lightning -> cold -> fire elemental as extra chaos stormburst poison character with hundreds of millions dps. Hatred scales it, zealotry scales it, malevolence is overpowered with it. Its ridiculous and I cannot understand how people havent found this out yet. Even the skill effect duration on malevolence scales with aura effect and makes it op.

The boots seem to have been nerfed tough. I used to be theorycrating a build that powered an indigon with the mana consumed, anomalous earthquake that didn't consume mana, and probably hollow palm, or something to get a lot of flat damage.

These boots don't count as mana consumed. Mana costs for all auras is zero and they just reserve mana (normally they do anyway - not when socketed in these boots). This is on the wiki too if you'd like to learn the interaction that big ducks is talking about.

The real 5head move is probably to have a few auras using petrified blood/arrogance and another few on these boots. So you may be able to run something like 7 auras, depending how you set it up. Then use MOM and Catarina's helmet or a watchers to sustain the energy shield. Do it on a raider so you never really take damage. A poor man's aura bot.

Man I was looking at past prices of these boots for this season and the price spiked from 2 chaos to 63 chaos on march 6 - lol all because of this video. It dropped back to 2-3chaos a week later though, pretty funny. Yes, these boots are good for early mapping but honestly do people really want to micro this much for weeks on end, I don't think so.

You can just have a foreboding curse mana flask to have perma full mana on 1 second timer that way when u proc arcane cloak you get a shield from a higher mana value and you wont need to wait for mana to regen in case u are getting smacked and mom is killing your pool

Pretty sure if you're not running increased duration you wouldn't need the reservation nodes? So if you're not in that area of the tree could still run it with 50% reservation aura's okay (although in that case, you might want to grab the other increased duration nodes). And on that note, increased duration gem is basically 74% increased duration (along with what you already have on tree), but you're spending 4 nodes on it. Meanwhile not using the support, getting an extra aura, and using 3 nodes on the other increased duration node would give you ~3 seconds less aura duration, but would let you run that 4th aura. (This is of course assuming I'm not missing something in calculations) Edit: If it weren't for the fact it was in the boot slot, then using self curse temp chains would be fun (but being boots takes Kaom's Roots off the table which reduces options on that front somewhat)

noone is gonna bother with recasting auras every 20 seconds, there is stuff like this all over the game. like uniques with a positive things and one drawback and you go "fk that i rather kill myself" this is one of those, and quite possibly one of the worst

I'd like to raise you Slam builds, which have to scream about that frequently, sometimes more frequently. This really isn't that big of a deal man.

Anything that increases skill effect duration works to make the auras last a lot longer. Sadly cwdt does not work. With out duration they only last 11 seconds. But they are so powerful. Glad I got mine and been using them for months. Back when they were 1c...hahaha!

noneed to be mana oriented to make this work if you use some sort of lifetap mechanic too or for the cyclone builds that reach 0 cost. you don't really use your free mana but you still get more auras and suprem ego.
