Omg this brought me back, this movie is absolutely iconic! That entrance scene, when the music changes and the spotlight comes on and she walks down the stairs.... *chefs kiss* I'm a sucker for a period drama/romance, Jane Eyre, Dangerous Liaisons and Titanic are my ultimate comfort movies! As for Hillary Duff movies, apart from this one, it has to be the Lizzie McGuire Movie, I mean, come on, no contest!

If you look carefully, Sam can be seen as an NLOG (Not Like Other Girls) but Hilary plays the character so well!

Sam Montgomery is a Hustling Queen but also this movie critiques and dismantles the dark side of Hustle Culture as well as the exploitation of workers based on gender and race (like with Rhonda) and I’m living for it!

Unpopular opinion: Check out the movie According To Greta if you haven’t. It’s kinda similar to Georgia Rule. I like it. Though, I suppose It may not be for everyone.
