Welcome back to the mill!
In today's video we are saying thank you for your support as we finish up our first year on KZfaq. We posted our first video June 21st, 2023. In that years' time we built our kiln and got most of our molder planer build finished. We also gained 4.9K subscribers which is more then we could have ever dreamed. It still surprises us every day that there are so many people out there that enjoy watching what we do on a daily basis. We want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time out of your busy days to watch what we do.
We want to give a huge shoutout to Solomon, he helps us so much editing some of the videos. Be sure to check out his channels.
@easternfloridapythons
@thirdbeardfishing
Big thanks to Joe Maine and Industrial Cutting Tools for the saw blades we use.

We hope you enjoy this video!
Please feel free to like, comment, and share, and as always,
we will see you back at the mill!

I found you through Nate, I think. I really enjoy your stuff! Common sense milling and normal life. I've been milling seriously about six years as a second career. I like either confirming I've got good practices or learning something so I still watch others. Your videos remind me a lot of my family. We are probably closer in age, but you remind me of my dad, who had been gone a while now. I really am glad your channel is growing, and I wish you the best of luck and many views. PS, that planer is a beast and I hope it really pays off for you. We have the same thoughts on equipment and banks.

@@BeardedLumber me too! I have two good prospects in mine so far. God willing the love stays with them, and not just for driving the equipment! Ha ha. They all love the grapple. We have two new prospects inbound and a reveal on Saturday- might be my superstar! We need more kids in the world- makes getting up everyday worthwhile.

@@BeardedLumber I would like to see a video talking about lumber identification . Looking at a pile of logs and being able to tell what kind it is . Like white and red oak by looking at the bark exc . You guys couldn't get a converter for the 3 phase ? Or have a 110 motor spinn a 3 phase motor exc . Is it because of the amps ? Like u said ? Well great job doing good it looks like to me
@BeardedLumber

@toddcaskey9984 thx Todd I looked at a 3 phase system from single phase I needed a 200 hp motor to generate enough 3 phase electricity to run the moulder planer . It just wasn't economical.

I’m thinking of upgrading my operation like y’all. Do you think a kiln is well worth the money. I hate to spend 20k and it not pay for itself. When I could buy a different piece of equipment.
