today we are going on a mini history lesson and taking a look back at guilty gear strive season 3 as a sort of retrospective look on how the season was and all the stuff that has happened in the season, a brief recap and review of the events and my feelings on them enjoy :)
happy to have johnny elphelt slayer and aba and looking forward to the new roster next season for season 4 might make another video like this then :)

Slayer honestly was such an easy character for me to get into that I managed to get into Celestial after I came back from a five month break the day he released

nobody below floor 10 knows what an overhead or a spacing trap is. You can literally just do 214K~S and just win. If they somehow block it do 2S or 2H or just do it again its soo fun

@@StarryArriiif you check puddlefarm for slayer looking at the etop 1000 players he only has like 4 mu's where he has a sub 60% winrate. And none lower the 53% Insanely carried

OH MAN I WISH THEY BRING VENOM INTO THE GAME he seems like such a fun character but really hard in previous games. I hope they make him a little simpler like they did with most characters, just don't overkill it like with Elphelt.

as a floor 10 casual, season 3 is the most fun season of strive yet. everything about strive has been turned up to 11, the neutral skips, the meter gain and resource economy, the bullshit blazing. all around fun and crazy matches every time i play tower. but holy fuck competing in this game would be enough to tear out your eyes hahahahaha

I think I started playing GGST just as Bedman? Was released, that was quite a long while ago. While I barely knew anything about Guilty Gear I decided to learn and catch up on its story and its characters. Even bought the older GG games when they were on sale too so XX ACPR and Xrd Rev 2 are in my library. Even the first Guilty Gear. I am certainly curious what season 4 will bring and what characters will return.

I was feeling real low on Strive during Season 2, so when season 3 started I had my doubts about how I'd ultimately end up feeling about the game. But I've gotta say, after everything has been said and done, I really fucking enjoyed Season 3. I'm very happy with how I feel the balance in the game is currently and honestly if Season 4 only gives small balance changes to the cast I'd call that a win in my book. I did think we'd be getting more new moves for the older characters though, like I don't think Ky or Sol have recived anything and I thought someone at ArcSys said all the base roster characters were going to get something in Season 3.

As someone who joined during season 3, I really feel like I joined at a great point in this game’s life. The season was really fun and having Slayer at the end allowed me to find a character I finally felt truly connected to. Honestly it is has been amazing and I can’t wait until season 4. But I got killed by a Potemkin because of white wild assault so 0/10 bad season.

I just picked up Strive as street fighter player and i saw so much doomer stuff around on youtube that i was getting a little disheartened thinking i had made a bad call picking now to get into this game soo i feel this video is a pretty refreshing thing to come across to re-afirm my impression that this game kinda rules hoping it still rules once i've died to every characters individual gimmick another 1000 times but i think it will

It’s actually really easy to pick up n the depth doesn’t go far at all so it’s good for newer players or for ppl that don’t play that often to come back, it’s very visually stunning and feels satisfying. Only issue the game has is no ranked system just floors which is ass n the lack of depth of the characters and no other game modes at the moment.

i was just leaning until johnny strive showed up, then elphelt came and i had topic up all my extras in cash, then after the a.b.a cope i really needed a symphony, and man, with slayer out now it really shows that season 3 had some major ups and downs . 10/10 season (this is also when i started playing so i grew up on Wild Assault🤷‍♂️)

all i have to say about wild assault is that goldlewis and nago definitively do NOT desserve the white one, i mean gold can run perfectly and sometimes i think even that's too much for a character like him and nago can already dash through all of the arena with the tp and beyblade, those two do not need an invincible dash alongside all of that
