Oh friends this is AMAZING!!!!!!! Way to go! Wowzers!! What an amazing garden it has become, man y'all are really surprising us with how fast it all grew. Haha. We are a little sad, but not much. No fall garden for the Bro Fam this year-- because we gotta concentrate on selling this house! Thank you for sharing. And thank you for sharing a little more often than once a week. We all love hanging with Art & Bri!

This pass Fall I planted turnips, kale, collards on Sept 1. This is now March the seventh and we ate turnips, fried kale, lots of collars every week since the first frost. We also helped 2 families in need with fresh greens over the winter and we still have so much left. This was grown in my tomato area by the house (8' X30') between the driveway and the house. Our friends and neighbors could not believe I grew so much in such a small area. I just told them that I prayed over them while I was planting and I made sure to give at least half to friends and people having a hard time that really need fresh vegetables. The more you give to those in need the more God will give back.

All your babies are getting so big - the puppies, the ducklings, even Brighton is getting so big! It's a joy to see your farm babies, your harvest, and the first hint of color on the leaves on the hillside! Sooo pretty!! We don't have a fall garden, per se; we're still having summer temps in south Texas! :(

Beautiful butternut squash.Nice to hear it will last a long time, and good tip of not cutting the stem too close in.All the kiddo's,and baby ducks, and doggies are growing fast. The buck is neat looking.Going to grow a Winter crop in my 5 tier Green Stalk.Chard deffinitely, and still deciding what else to grow.Maybe some turnips since you said the greens are delicious.I love rhutabagas so I may need to grow these in a deep bucket,or half a barrel. They will take up more room. Will be my first Winter planting in the Green Stalk planter.I got the discount on it by using the Starry code. From Starry Hilder.Take your elderberry you all for good health, and cold weather temps.Especially for Briana now,and your baby to come.Bundle up folks it's colder now.First rains coming tomorrow,Thursday, and Friday for Berkeley, and North of us which will help put the many fires out. Also the rains will help with a new fire down South in Boulder Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Thanks for the video.Be well, and take care you all.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡..........

We haven't had a good frost yet, I harvested mustard greens, and beet greens and can harvest them again already in my fall garden. My kale and turnips are doing better. Bugs got all my turnip greens, but they are coming back. Carrots got abused by my chickens who found my garden. A few survived. Thanks for sharing, Art and Bri. Really missed you guys. And congrats on the new baby on the way. I just had my 15th grandchild. A boy.

I had great fortune with my Spaghetti Squash lasting from harvest (around October/November) to last week (End of April)! It was awesome! I have almost 100 winter squash plants sprouted right now! And, a few summer squash to feed us until the winter squash come in! I think I will be able to produce a year's supply of food for my wife and I this summer!

Wow! Look at all those butternut squash! What a sweet blessing from the Lord! The kale and other greens look amazing, too. My "free-range locusts" have bitten off the tops of my tender kale sprouts, which is all I planted for the Fall garden. I planted three varieties of kale: Siberian (which grows best for me, but is a little spiny), Curly, and Scarlet. Will have to get more seeds in before the days and nights get far too cold. Thank you for sharing your progress! Praise the Lord!

It might be a little late in the season now but to get your figs to ripen faster you need to remove some of them. The plant is dividing to much energy trying to grow so many figs. You might even remove some branches that do not have any figs on them so the plant will hurry the fruiting along.

A beautiful blog. I'm getting ducks again one day, their eggs are by far the best for cakes . Yay Nubian babies. My spring garden isn't doing too much yet, it consists of the last of cherry tomatoes and some veg that survived my complete neglect like frilly lettuce, mustard greens and rainbow chard reseeding . Parsley that just keeps going. The kids and I planted hundreds of seeds that were getting a bit older about two weeks ago and we're waiting to see what will germinate. All week we've had an incredible amount of rain here in South East Queensland and still more meant to come so what the birds, grubs didn't already eat and what now won't rot Hopefully will come up. I won't complain about the rain though as it was so dry. We rely on a big hole in our seasonal creek that holds water for animals and gardens and rain water tanks on the house for all our use . Have a beautiful fall . Love butternut it's our favourite. 💖

Great to see your beautiful family this morning! I've never done much with fall gardening. Starting some spinach and Swiss chard, and have sweet potatoes and red potatoes growing in buckets. Frost is rare here in So. Cal. I usually only get 1-2 mornings that get down to 32. Last year we only got to 33. Excited to meet the Rhodes family at Primal Pastures this weekend on the Great American Farm Tour! Have been waiting all year for them to make their way over here. Hope Bri is feeling well!
